Time for Pax to man up and coach....

Riffing off this guys article..... http://blogs.chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/rosenblog/2009/01/from-this-perch-id-say-vinnys-out-the-door.html

I am thinking Vinny should be gone; but the question is who to replace. Do you subject a young Rose to a myriad of bad coaches early in his career. Since they are still paying Skiles and may even end up owing VDN cash if they did let him go; its hard to see them bringing in anyone at this juncture that would be quality. No - it more than likely would be the Del Bickerstaff combo. But - the franchise does have a wild card in Paxson; and he should take a page out of McChales book come down from his office and get a first hand look of what he put together.

At this point I'm numb

I’m still in awe of Vinnys coaching

If it actually came to that, it would be way better just to clean house

On a side note, I can’t believe the Rosenblog is getting this much pub.

"One thing I do know is teams like a lot of our pieces. That's not to say they want to give us a lot of players in return, but I know they like a lot of our pieces." - John Paxson (1/21/09)

Gotta say no.

It reminds me of the time I locked myself in the basement and had to climb out a window. And then realized the outside doors of my house were locked too, and I didn’t have the keys.

Makes a good story at my own expense to tell sometimes, but it doesn’t mean I’d purposely do it.

If they're going to fire Vinny now, just give the job to Bickerstaff or Harris

Only reason not to is if they’ve found a longer term solution outside the organization. Who’s to say Paxson would be any good as a coach anyways.

We have every right to dream heroic dreams. Those who say that we're in a time when there are no heroes, they just don't know where to look.

This is Paxson's mess

Let him coach the rest of the season and if we don’t make the playoffs he gets fired as coach and gm.
