Open Game Thread #33: Bulls at Cleveland Cavaliers
Chicago @ Cleveland
I could not care any less about this game.
They're going to get creamed, and then Deng and Gooden's return will correlate with an easy home schedule stretch, and the Bulls will win 3 or 4 of the next 5, while Tyrus and Noah play 10 minutes a game in each. Success!

learned to “attack” the basket like other teams and draw some fouls. Would have been perfect against Orlando but what do I know. I don’t have the coaching resume that VDN has…oh wait I do.

Someone mentioned NBA2K9 the other night

well in 2k9 you are the gm so i guess pax’s ass WAS fired, and you take over. And yea, in the offseason you can get some of the other coaches on your team. Ivaroni is surprisingly good. Yea but coaches dont really matter, i hope in the next one they give each coach more power over outcomes of the team….coaches are important, as we bulls fans can obviously tell.

The biggest issue I have right now (off a long list)
Is VDN going away from something that is working. In this instance: He sits Thabo after a very hot and good start, 4-5 shooting, a steal and an assist in the first couple of minutes. And then he sits him?? How are they to maintain any kind of good play??
and then he starts garbage time early playing lindsay hunter and Cedric simmons in the middle of the 2nd q.

How has this time gotten worse as time has gone on?
I mean how is it that we have played this team tougher the last two times. I mean Cavs needed Lebron to score 41 and now he has 10 pts and bulls are getting blown out.
Either the injuries mean a lot or VDN is a bad coach.

I think we need to start a movement to get Vinny fired.
And in order to get our point across, we’re going to need a catchy slogan. So i’m thinking: “Shave the hair!” So from now on if you go to a Bulls game hold up big signs featuring that. Loud chants work as well. Thought?

i believe they’re right. Plus, why would BG want to play for this shitty team when we can play for a better one?

39 pts combined for Varejao (17) Wallace 13 jj Hickson (9)
Through 3 quarters.
Those guys average 15 a game. Granted they are getting more p.t. with Z out but even with big z usual production added in the cavs frontcourt is still outscoring its per game average in 3 quarters, by 10 pts!
Of course i doubt this is news to anyone.
