you are right that larry sitting is important
but what does ben do well besides score…he doesnt make platers around him better and although hes a better defender than given credit for, hes not a great defender. Dont get me wrong, I like Ben, but hes not as good as people make him out to be. The easy baskets created by kirks defense help make up for the lack in offensive production…but its huge that larrys not playing

Gordon's been really off these past two games too.
He doesn’t play as in control as Kirk does.
I dunno, though, if Kirk keeps playing like this it’ll be hard to argue the other way. Gordon was playing really well before, he’s just in a slump.

I've always been more of a BG7 guy...
but it’s clear that Hinrich is needed on this team MUCH more than BG right now. Ben is a professional and I am thankful for everything that he has given to this organization, but he’s a black hole that can’t play any defense just like Gooden, Noce and Larry. Without those guys on the court, the offense is SO fluid (even though it’s VDN’s offense). Kirk’s D looks great and he’s only going to get better as the season wears on and he gets more comfortable on the floor.
Kudos to Vinny for the lineup he finished with: Rose, Hinrich, Deng, Noce, TT. If we are going to play small ball, we HAVE to have Hinrich and Rose/BG, not Rose and BG. TT is proving that his future is with the bulls and he should be considered UNTOUCHABLE right now because he is really showing a lot of heart and making strides, especially with his defensive IQ. That block on LBJ was HUGE tonight. Oh and he also got the jump ball in OT over LBJ…
I’m excited about this team again, what a win…this could be the turning point of our season!!!

I love the fact that Rose
had just a shitty game…just awful…and then in crunch time, when it matters, he drops a ton of points and assists. that’s just awesome to see. When it mattered, every Bull on the floor knew to get the ball to derrick, derrick wanted the ball, and the league’s top defense couldn’t stop it. so cool.
and kirk has been awesome. defense, ball movement, shooting, and yes, leadership.
