Trades and moves that would change everything

Bullies fans, like you all i thought like most bulls fans that rebuild part 3, would start off with a bang this summer ,with the no.1 pick, and it did .pickin Rose was the rite move, lets end that talk now.B.G has been a huge? since he didnt sign the offer last year, what was pax to do be left with captian sometimes i feel like playin tonight kirk, larry hughes, was just thrown in the wallace trade,And the real goal of thet was to get gooden, wicth i have to go into for a sec, drew a former teamate of hinrich, who for the past two seasons have been begging the front office to get.happened ,besides drew was dead in clevland not seeing any playing time who was a backup for then d marshall, and now ben wallace.after the trade kirk did play a little better.and thabo i guess i still dont get why alot of fans like this kid,the wingspan? gimmee a break maybe cause hes not a midget like he rest of the backcourt.like signing deng shores up the 3 spot  selecting d-rose shores up the1.so this leaves the 2,4.and 5 spot.

So what do the bulls do,one  to save the season  and two to develope the younglings and three add he two or three pieces that will make us contenders

.we need shooting, inside outside everywhere.we can forget about B.G besides I mean do we want this guy spoiling the bunch with his bad attitude it looks like he has nowhere else to go,so tis likely hell sign the Q.O..We trade his ass as soon as possible,im thinkng along with noch.free up that contract for free agencey.the combanation of B.G. and noch is  really actractive, you get two starters and two sixmans at ounce .this drasticly shores up any team with probly only giving us a player the dont need any more.i like a deal with orlando,(redick the kid can shoot them out)toronto (barnangi with jermain oneil up there now and they still have bosh, who i think the bulls should go after with everything  when the come time)

we  have to get somthing for gordon,im sick of these young guys we get devolpe them then they get there  nose out of joint then start talking smack  then demand huge contracts, get traded then end up with a new team most of the time with a team that thats all the needed was some young good blood like brad miller and artest and most recently chandler(who was in my book was a keeper after all we did trade brand for him who to this would of shore up the 4)we need a decent   4,5,6 year vet who will be positive  play his role at the 2,sometimes1 if need be and can flat out shoot, then a backup  to him thabo isnt it yet,  Morris Almond (utah jazz) 6.6 gaurd who can play 1,2, and is a killer at 3pt.maybe we can get him thrown in along with okkur(who plays with D.williams easy tranistion to play with D.rose )He can still ball and will shore up the 5 for a season to take preasure off of noah and grey.

if nothing like this happens the pax has to do .simply TRADE, we got the contracts and the young talent to make two or three moves that will help us.so pax if your listenin, get propper talent in return just a season befor we where the up and coming in the east ,with still the core of that talent left someone will want hughes, someone will want gordon  and many teams will want noch.with all of this things still look bright D-Rose is good tyrus showed us at the end of the season what we can hpoe for this season(and ive only heard hes bigger and faster if you can belive that)hinrich can still be the part of the system or if need be part of a trade that gets us at least a player as talented as he is,noah is like tyson a little bit but shows a little more heart,(and should note noah was asked to be thrown in on almost every trade rumors by other teams this summer should awakein any doubt on his pottenial)

in closeing the bulls have the oppurtunity to make moves rite now to make them that up and coming young, fast, run and gun team with grit again

p.s. dont burn on me to bad this is my first post :)

Mr. Madison,

what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Asked what kind of player he expects to be in the next five years, he said: "Not a star, but like, a superstar. Something around, like, Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, something like that."

WTF???

Hey, now far be it from me to hate on the herb, but son, it’s painfully obvious that you have a problem. Get you to a Narc anon meeting, perhaps a freshman english composition class…or better still get an editor to omit half this post…

playa haters

in my defense,im dyslexic and to make fun of someones spelling is well come on man its a little juinor high and so far all ive heard is how much dope im smoking, obviously its pretty good. jealous ?, and i dont know what team you all have been watching or the city thats known for loosein talent but where going on post jordan plus 10 yrs now and so many want to hold on to Ben gordon cause he practices alot or was the leading scorer for 3yrs he doesnt want to be here so trade his ass and get somthing instead of nothing for him

by chitownfan on Sep 24, 2008 8:57 PM CDT reply actions

good point

making fun of spelling should be left in junior high, as beyond that the spelling should be pretty decent.

if he's dyslexic,

it’s really a problem. i know a 40+ year old man who is really smart (and talented at his job) but can’t spell because of his dyslexia.

that said, if you’re dyslexic, spell check is your friend…

by Jaina on Sep 24, 2008 10:20 PM CDT up reply actions

I am dyslexic

though thankfully just a mild case. Spell check is indeed your friend. Firefox has it built in to text boxes so no excuses. I still frak up, but not as bad as I would otherwise, got through college, have a good job… Using capitals and punctuation helps as well. When you are dyslexic is isn’t a good idea to neglect the things you can do because you are lazy. Gives the rest of us a bad reputation.

Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.

And I'm guessing one of the most challenging words

is the word dyslexia itself—I don’t even have it, and I have to think twice about typing it…

this is true.

as i said i wasn’t saying he shouldn’t take the time to make sure his post is better written than what’s up there, but dyslexia can be more serious than some people think is all.

and it’s awesome that ff has it built in. :)

Yo

he’s screwing around with us. I’ve seen a lot of bizarre and bad prose in my day, but this was intentionally bad, like he was channeling Slingblade.

talk about the contents not the spelling

to all you basement liven , sweatpants wearin i just got the season 3 of lost watching , whats for dinner mom eatn (and thats you your friendly bullbloger) so i ranted a little ,ive been a bulls fan my whole life, and i can tell most of you dont even live in chicago. all of you make me wonder if you were a geek or a bullie in school, justt make fun. dont take any of my points up,a true fan would have at least agreed that ben gordon has to go. im upset as a fan 10 years after jordon and what all the talent that has gone thru the org.in the past years is wild, brad miller ,elton brand, ron artest eddy curry ,tyson chandler, marcus fizer whoi only needed mins.jamal crawford the list goes on .
the whole point of the post was to make people think, that we get players in return for wasteing time devoloping hese guys gettin sh# from pax, skiles ,cartwright or even better yet floyd then they get traded and we dont get the same talent in return

by chitownfan on Sep 25, 2008 12:20 AM CDT reply actions

I can't see past the format of your writing

so I can’t talk about the content. This is just like a big blur, word following word, without structure and/or punctuation.

Or maybe it’s just me not being a native-english-speaker, and this is perfectly readable for the average american.

OK, fine, contents, whatever.

On this:
“.we need shooting, inside outside everywhere.we can forget about B.G besides I mean do we want this guy spoiling the bunch with his bad attitude it looks like he has nowhere else to go,so tis likely hell sign the Q.O..We trade his ass as soon as possible,im thinkng along with noch.free up that contract for free agencey.the combanation of B.G. and noch is really actractive, you get two starters and two sixmans at ounce .this drasticly shores up any team with probly only giving us a player the dont need any more.i like a deal with orlando,(redick the kid can shoot them out)toronto (barnangi with jermain oneil up there now and they still have bosh, who i think the bulls should go after with everything when the come time) "
1. We do not need shooting. We need people who can get to the basket.
2. B.G. has a great attitude, ignoring the last three months of contract talks that have nothing to do with playing basketball. [If you were the best SG on your team would you be happy about a sixth man role?]
3. We aren’t trading them four players: therefore whoever we trade with will not get "two sixth men and two starters at once”. What does that even mean?
4. Toronto isn’t going to trade us Bosh for our ‘effort’-prone SF and Gordon [though … it’d be nice?].

To be honest, we have Noah/Thomas at the PF/C spots already, too: we’d probably have to move Thomas at that point of getting Bosh. I really like Noah as our C and would like to give Thomas some run at the PF for the first half of the season: we need to see what we have, and I’m fairly confident he’ll develop with minutes. We have our SF as Deng, PG as Rose, and I like Thabo actually [especially, of course, if he works on his shot: he’s getting better, from all accounts it looks like Skiles just shot his confidence in the face with a shotgun when he came in to the Bulls]. I’m comfortable with that roster going into the season with Noc/Gooden/Gray/Hinrich on the bench. Hopefully we play really, really fast [woo athleticism]. We can be the suns of old! [Only let’s win playoffs. Playing D helps with that.]

one more time

First of all, yes he has been the leading scorer the past 3 years but that’s like saying he’s the smartest kid on the short bus.

Don’t get me wrong B.G is a good player but not the go to shooing guard we need. Anyone who does not agree with me I’ve got one word,

Inconsistent .

For three years he’s been the go to guy, right ? I heard tons of talk from how hard he works out, then why is he so inconsistent ?. Okay sometimes he’s come through, sometimes. Time and time again I’ve read what a great attitude he’s got what a nice guy he is .You want a friend buy a dog. we need a consistent go to guy now.

“I’ve played my last game as a bull”

Remember that comment, why do we want this guy on our team.

And remember when guys would play really well the season before a contract negotiation’s to get the money they earn.

but he played hot &cold like the rest of the team. I say sign and trade his ass. We’ve got d-rose now and kirk who I think will be back to his old self this season. This allows us the option to take a couple risks. The Ben Gordon issue is just one of the problem’s we have and the other is of course low post scoring .

The trade proposal below gives us an amazing shooter in Morris Almond and the low post scorer and all around player Lamar Odem. Most of all the salary space with Odem’s expiring contract

It gives the lakers a defensive minded SF in Andrei Kirilenko and a scorer.

Utah get’s a slew of player’s who will shore up there bench and gives them a possible 6th man in Nocioni

The trade worked on ESPN trade machine .

One more thing about B.G . He’s painted himself in a corner, the word around the nba is no team will have the money he want’s after this year, signing the Q.O. is all he has.
Pax called his bluff , now what Ben ? And I’m sure you’ve heard that this season tickets have no players on them, I guess I’m not the only one fore seeing big changes coming for the roster. Do the right thing Pax and make the bulls a contender in the east again.

tell me what you think.

by chitownfan on Sep 25, 2008 8:47 PM CDT reply actions

Congratulations on the format this time.

As for content :-) :

Ben Gordon saying he won’t wear Bulls uniform was (most probably) only part of the negociation. He’s looking for any leverage he can (threats being part of it, out of desperation maybe). It could also be taken as “I would love to stay, but unfortunately I think I won’t wear a Bulls uniform again”, by the way.

As for your trade, the Lakers would trade Lamar Odom and two young players they like, for Andrei Kirilenko ? I can see Utah biting (maybe), but not the Lakers. As for the Bulls, not much improvement I think. Gooden is actually more of a complement to Noah/Thomas than Odom imho.

The Game chose him !
