Deng Dominates in Eurobasket Qualifier
Sounds like Luol was pretty awesome in helping the newly formed GB team qualify for Eurobasket next summer. Hopefully he comes out this season guns blazing.

Dang
Seemed like all the potential impact players listed in that article have their rights owned by Portland…

It is scary right now
but eventually they’ll have to figure out how to pay them all. They won’t be able to keep everyone down the road. Still, not a bad place to be. :)
Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.

They can't bring all those guys over
But they can package their rights in trades. Damn, I wish our owner was the richest man in the country, and could buy a bunch of draft picks from other teams.

It's not like Reinsdorf is in the poor house
He has more than enough money to overpay. He just doesn’t want to lose money on the Bulls. Even though owning a sports team shouldn’t be about winning or losing money if you ask me.
In fact, considering the Sox payroll vs. attendance, I would have to guess he uses his Bulls profits to offset the Sox losses (in the seasons when they’re down but still have a $100 million payroll)

This is weak competition
These are teams trying to QUALIFY for Eurobasket.
Great Britian’s basketball team is only 2 years old and dominated a group already?
Any venue for Deng to extend an aggressive streak is good by me.
