I would give Drose for ?
Im juss interested in seeing your answers
I would give Drose for _______________(fill in the blank and give your reason)
Not that i want to give him away. Im just real courious to see what you guys think we could get and who you guys want to get for Derrick Rose. Cause i think that we could get almost anyone in the league for Drose and maybe also by throwing in a couple players.

Beasley doesn't count, right
especially after signing Deng.

Here are mine
D. Wade, L. James, T. Duncan (even at his age yes), C. Paul, K. Garnett, 3 future first round draft picks, K. Bryant, D. Nowitzki, A. Stoudemire, C. Bosh, M. Ginobili, Josh Smith and Marvin Williams (2 for 1 trade); and hopefully that’s it. I hope Rose turns into a superstar that we’ve needed….

For M. Ginobili straight up...!?

Ginobili had the 7th highest PER last year,
ahead of “MVP” Kobe Bryant. His age (31) probably tips the scales in favor of Rose. But certainly the Spurs wouldn’t make that deal straight up with or without Tony Parker on the team.

LeBron...maybe...
Perhaps CP3, perhaps Dwight…but i’d like to see what DRose has got before even thinking about it.

Only a superstar 4 or 5
Just because of their scarcity. If you have one of those, you can get a good point for sure. But there’s no guaranty that with the best pg in the league that you’ll be able to find even a competent center.

Considering his production/salary potential
He may end up being too valuable to trade for a big name until his rookie contract is up.

Hmm
Lebron, Kobe, Wade, Paul, Howard, Oden, Duncan, Bosh, Williams. Maybe a couple others on the fence (Yao, Amare, etc)

It's scary to see
people post on here rip Pax or other GMs as being bad, follow up by saying they wouldn’t trade DRose for the likes of LeBron, Howard, Paul. At least admit those 3!!!! There’s about 10 guys you would deal in a heartbeat, and probably another 10 that are obvious choices. See Sports2 and majoyenrac for the common sense list. We don’t need to turn this place into the BlazersEdge do we?

Newsflash:
There are a lot more Bulls fans that believe DRose = basketball god than those who believe DRose = untested rookie phenom that may or may not ever become a top 2 pg in this league (see CP3/Dwill for the incumbents). You’re view, while realistic, is undoubtedly in the minority, simply based on the small samping of comments in this thread. Do you need to be reintroduced to the saying “pot calling the kettle black”?

I would trade Rose and half the posters here
For LeBron, CP3, or Kobe.

I’m gonna suggest packaging myself and chgobr for Mortimer. He’s got a lot of years on him but he’s still in his prime. What will be lost in optimism will be made up for in verbiage.
Go Blazers?

A bag of magic beans?
Oh, wait, that was the Philadelphia 76ers on the Allen Iverson trade, my bad…
