Looks like Tyrus has been fielding a lot of questions/emails regarding his height. He states he is still 6'9" but he does look like he has grown an inch or two. Not much else here, comments on how he thinks D. Rose and him will be great. Also, on the signing of Deng to a longtem contract.

tape measure?

So are you suggestion Bulls fans chase Tyrus down with a tape measure a step ladder? .... I’m doubting too many posters on Blogabull are 6’9” or taller to compare heights with him ;)

I wish I was 6'9"

:( , then I could dunk for sure. Oh and I’d have had a much greater chance at playing in the NBA, like I’m sure we all dreamed of back when we were younger.

::end misplaced whining::

In other news, who cares how tall TT is? We should be more concerned about if he’s bulked up at all. His height has never been an issue, given his ridiculous leaping ability and freakishly long arms. Hopefully he’s hitting the weight room and put on some muscle to that frame.

Of course, if anyone gets taller/longer...

....while in the NBA, that’s still big news. I’m sure if Shaw grew two inches when he was 22/23, it would help.

You know...

...like the ones where people say they are 5’9” and they met Ben Gordon in the mall and there was NO WAY he was over 6’0”. Those kinds.

It may be the case of KG here

Where he always wanted to be called 6’11, not 7 feet so he wouldn’t be called a “freak.” Tyrus may not want that same kind of labeling. Our poor BaB mancrush has feelings :(

kg too?

i heard that story about noah.

by Jaina on Aug 4, 2008 12:19 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

Yeah Craig Sager interviewed him once at an ASG

And mentioned how he was 7 feet, and KG took the time to say “I’m not 7 feet, I’m 6’11 and 1/4.”

ah

well it was particularly how you phrased it “so he wouldn’t be called a freak” since i had heard that exact language in regards to noah.

interesting how the athletes perceive themselves.

Tyrus measured at 6'7.25" without shoes

at pre-draft camp. If he means 6’9” without shoes, then he sprouted and hasn’t realized it yet.

Ghastly website.

I hope he doesn’t burn his hand on his inflamed ball…

Yeah

that’s about as bad as it gets. Looks like a five year old was in charge of making the choices.

The poster formerly known as Freethefro.

In other news...

Luol Deng was quoted today as saying he had shrunken to 6’4” due to the drawn out contract talks weighing heavily on his shoulders.

The only thing

that matters is that his stat line looks like this 14 ppg / 10 rpg / 3 bpg / 2 spg.
