96-98 MJ

They had the better teams . . .

Simple as that

Rose looks small?

yet, I can’t bear to see another year of Kirk dribbing behind the basket in circles, fearful of physical contact, no elevation, excessively long shooting slumps, and not knowing what to do next or who to pass too.

A Reinsdorf favorite? Untouchable in trade talks. Together with Jerry’s other fellow favorites: Doug Collins, and John Paxson. Does Reinsdorf really care about winning at the highest level and competing against the elite competition? Why does he clearly continue to run and shape the team with players whom he should or should have already traded?

I'm beginning to believe you have a one-track mind.

impatience.. no decision, no trades, slow motion bulls org.

I do! I’ll try to more optimistic.

Yet, mgmt needs to throw us(fans) a bone or something. Heck we lucked up on the 1st pick in the draft, other than that what have we done (after 33-49 & 2 coaches fired in 1 season) besides picking a cheaply paid rookie coach with his experienced journeymen coaches as washed-up assistants? Bickerstaff? might as well selected Benny the Bull as an assistant.

Think about it, if Jerry already made up his mind months ago on Gordon, why is Paxson wasting his time saying nothing until RFA are signed?

Shouldn’t he be attempting to improve the team this off-season, by position us better.at least unload Noc since Gordon really isn’t in Jerry’s plans. It seems conflicting strategy or Jerry programs or likes Paxson to make stupid stances to mask Jerry’s intended strategy. Which is really not a winning basketball championship strategy?

Is Paxson just a front man with very limited power? So does that make Reinsdorf look intelligent hiding behind a cloak by having “yes” figure-head Paxson as GM taking the negative feedback while Reinsdorf increases the profitability of the Organization? I guess the answer is “Yes” to your original question and the Reinsdorf question also.

That’s the same thing I said exult463. He does look like he hasn’t hit the gym since he been in Memphis. His diet probably is High protein and low calorie – I couldn’t do it.

Probably stress at this level of popularity? eating less, lack concentration, etc

In contrast, Michael Beasley looks great deflecting pressure by acting carefree, telling jokes, and relaxing. Rose also looked more muscular during the tournament.. I imagine he’ll have to settle in and will feel comfortable once he starts during the thing that he loves.

This "interview" is lame...

Barely qualifies as post worthy… Much like my comment. Maybe if he asked him an actual question that wasn’t just pandering. WTF? “which Jordan is better?”… Um, how about Space Jam Jordan? The one where he dunked on a monster and then Tweety Bird dished out like ten dimes!… Can’t wait till the season starts.

Don't call me doughboy!

Interviewer clueless

Does the interviewer realize Rose was mere 2 years old when the Bulls won their first title? He’s hardly qualified to give any true response about the Bulls first 3-peat. If anything it would be nothing more than whatever he’s heard from his elders. He was 10 years old when the Bulls won their last championship. I can’t imagine him having much of opinion other that it was ‘fun’ having his city’s basketball team win.

Average kid doesn’t get involved in sports until he/she is 12/13. Yes, I know there are kiddie sports but I’m talking about when youngsters start taking the game more seriously and know the details. Derrick Rose may have been alive during the Bulls Dynasty but he missed the details. Frankly I’m okay with that because its less daunting and allows for his altruistic nature to shine.

It was a off-record conversation. I think they should just get the train moving because our roster look the same as last year. I have faith they will move a guard before training camp to cease the potential of a catastrophe in regard to selfish attitudes. I hope they offer Gordon, Hinrich or Hughes for Darko.
