Around SBN: Diego Sanchez and the Dangers of Fame in MMA

I can't find anything written about it yet, but I saw a reference on Thorpe's latest chat that Noc hurt his knee in the game - the best I could do to find info on it wasto watch the recording of the ARG v. GRE game in the link above. It happens when he pulls down a rebound off a missed dunk just a couple minutes into the fourth quarter, though it looks like he was favoring it before that. He played on but was taken out and obviously hobbled. Might not be anything serious, but you never know...

I saw the 4th quarter of the game, and quite frankly, the guy should be traded to Spurs for Kurt Thomas. He’s a overpaid backup. I saw him play and he looks the same from last year, maybe a bit unselfish.

"Quite Frankly!?"

I’ve got it! This is what Stephen A. Smith is doing with all his new found free time!

Why

would we want to make a good team better (Spurs) and make us suffer more?

Gotta love Noc. Sure he’s overpaid because he’s our backup, but he is a starter quality player just not starter quality ahead of Luol….

to be fair to Paxson

he had no way of knowing that Deng would be the starting SF for the next 8 years. You just can’t predict things like that.

Probably out against the US

Will get an MRI. I don’t know enough Spanish to wade through the local newspapers, but that’s the gist of what I read.

I thought u were ready to dump Noc?

This hasn't changed

It’s about 4:1 among the trade:keep Noc debate in BAB-land.

He's got a month

to heal anyway…..I think he had plantar fasciites a couple years ago ……and he played on that earlier than expected,so i think he’ll be ok in time enough to do a physical for whatever team he is traded to!
