A Letter From Vinny Del Negro
For anyone who hasn't seen this and might be interested in reading it. In order to be fair to VDN, please read the letter without any predeceived notions about what he'll have to say.

I like going to nice dinners too!
I think the best part of this letter was that there was no mention of Kirk Hinrich, Larry Hughes, Andres Nocioni, or Drew Gooden. It sounded to me like he plans to build this team around Rose, Luol, Tyrus, and Joakim, and I couldn’t agree any more. Then again, I’ve learned to not trust any presumptions regarding Bulls strategy…

I think he was only commenting on the players he looked at drafting when he worked for the Suns
People like Larry Hughes are so old that he played with VDN… so obviously Vinny didn’t scout him.

This was the best thing I read this Sunday morning. The key is translating Vinny's
obvious enthusiasm to the court. I do like that he puts defense first and that he appears to want to rely on D Rose to push the ball.

Thabo and Gordon
were in the same drafts as Tyrus and Lou, so does that mean VDN didn’t like them?

pretty sure
he’s also mentioned thabo as someone he really liked at the press conference, though he doesn’t mention him in the letter. still leaves gordon, though. :P

I think it just meant they, the Suns, didn't seriously look at BG bc they wouldn't have a pick that high in that draft.
Remember the pick we got Deng with was originally the Suns. Or he just hates him;)
And yeah, he did also mention liking Thabo previously. I think it’s just a given that everyone loves the ’losha!

"I would like to note I do not use hair gel and love puppies"
Looks like he will put a lot of weight and playing time on Rose right off the bat; which is a good thing.
