2008 Summer League Game Thread #1: Bulls at Miami

Haven’t captured streams disseminating from NBA.com before, but i’m testing some of their other streams first.

Here it says that the webcast starts at 3pm Eastern. 18 more minutes. I called out of work just to catch it.

14 minutes left to go. They have the camera pointed at the score board doing a countdown to our game.

Maybe there are a bunch a people connecting at once. I got on about 20 minutes ago. Perhaps there is a log jam?

Everyone broke and Joakim got a really confused look on his face and clearly mouthed “Wait, what time are we leaving? What time are we leaving?” A few guys rolled their eyes…

if you have not already.

there’s still halftime(ten minutes) and 2 quarters(20minutes) to go so u have time to figure it out before the bulls play.

for me, the player would try to open the stream and then immediately stop and say ready…i updated my windows media player and turned off my pop up blocker and i got the stream right away.

I wonder why.

they will swing down to the game when it starts the next quarter. They are still playing the Indiana vs OKC game right now. Bulls come after this game.

For each person foul in excess of six (6), the opposing team receives two shots and the ball; the fouled players will shoot the free throws except in the final two minutes of the game and overtime, when any player on the court at the time of the foul can shoot.

I love the comments like “at no time did you form a coherent thought, there.” Snarky at its best.

And then the random comments on the game are even funnier because of it – out of the blue you get “nice takedown by Westbrook” or “push the guy down earlier so you have time to catch the ball.”

Seriously, these guys are the big reason I hope the Bulls stick with the Orlando league.

Not too sure why they’re showing it on the NBA calendar though.

i’m very excited to watch this team. last year was so full of expectations, all we ended up getting was gordon and deng trying to up their free agent status.
the team concept went totally out the window. i can only hope that they will get long contracts and get the ship righted again.

Tyrus and Noah both suck, after 5 minutes of meaningless basketball. I may check out of this thread.
