For the crazy trade wizards
I decided to make this a FanPost even though it's a link, because it's the best link to NBA salary information I came across. Unlike many others, I am a novice when it comes to managing the cap in trade rumors, and this is a great spreadsheet that succinctly lays out every NBA team's salary situation for the next five seasons.
There are other sites like HoopsHype that have the same information, but this is a direct link to the same salary info on Blog-A-Bull, which saves me and others the precious seconds it takes to open another window.

Credit for the link goes to the pagan cult of Blazers Edge.
FanPosts are user-created posts from the BlogABull community, and are to be treated as the opinions and views of that particular user, not that of the blogger or blog community as a whole.

hmm
I know the Hornets want Gordon but the only thing I can think of is sign and trade for Julian Wright, Ely and I guess Mike James, but he has a player option for 2009 that I assume he’d pick up so we couldn’t just cut him.

I'd usually
recommend draftexpress, but they’re clearly messing around with the data right now….

Great
Credit for the link goes to the pagan cult of Blazers Edge.
Now they’re going to bombard this thread gloating about getting credit for finding the link and complaining that you called them a cult while implying that Kevin Pritchard is Satan.

I doubt any of them check this site daily looking for references
It’s clearly a joke, and I’m sure the jovial citizenry of Portland will laugh it off at a microbrewery.

Im sure they did see all our references to KP
They probably have a committee that does searches on KP on a daily bases and put people who dare defy the “perfection that is KP” on a special list for a special group of assasins sworn to destroy all enemies and those who would dare defile the name of KP. That said, i probably should never go visit portland…. :-)

I miss McMenamins
Oh, the memories. :)
If nothing else, taking Rose will at least piss off Pat Riley.

How are the Warriors under the cap by so much?
According to this page, Golden State was 14 million over the cap before Baron opted out. They still own the rights to Pietrus, O’Bryant, and Biedrins, so their salaries still count for this offseason. As far as I can see, all they can eliminate from last year is Baron’s 17, Barnes’ 4, and Croshere’s 1, putting their current payroll at $50 million – hardly enough to offer Elton Brand what they did.
