Pete Myers Keeps his job
Bulls add 26-plus years of head coaching experience
The Chicago Bulls announced today that Del Harris, Bernie Bickerstaff and Bob Ociepka have been hired as assistant coaches on Vinny Del Negro's coaching staff.
In addition, Pete Myers will remain in his current role as assistant coach. In accordance with club policy, terms of the contracts were not announced.
What about Ron Adams? No news on him? Hopefully Harris will bring his vast knowledge from being with Championship teams to this young group and rise the level of professionalism because that's something that I really think needs to be addressed amongst our young guys (Noah, TT, Gray).

Yea
That’s what I meant – had Adams on my mind for some reason.

Did you read it backwards or
something? It’s not very complicated.

Well
The fanpost titled said Ron Adams keeps his job, seeming to suggest that you had info on his future position, but instead it was just you questioning what his position would be. I see now you changed it to Pete Myers, which makes a lot more sense. Type the correct name in your fanpost title, “It’s not very complicated”.

KC's repeatedly reported that both Adams and Myers would have roles in the organization
The only question would be if that meant on the bench or in the front office. I think it’s safe to assume that Adams will be moving to the front office.
We have every right to dream heroic dreams. Those who say that we're in a time when there are no heroes, they just don't know where to look.

I wonder how last season would have turned out if Myers were interim coach instead?
Yes, this is undoubtedly a sign that I have way too much time on my hands. However, it’s just a little funny that Paxson went with B*&#@ over Myers, yet Myers is staying on the bench.
If nothing else, taking Rose will at least piss off Pat Riley.

What's the point?
Bulls should have cleaned house and terminated all of the old coaches. It’s clear that Myers and Adams have pics of Paxson and/or Reinsdorf in compromising positions. Those guys are jokes.

I think I read somewhere
that myers is a calming influence on young guys. they trust him. that’s a good thing. I don’t believe that he is made of coaching material but a support system for young guys is never a bad thing.

i hated meyers as a player but...
i like him as a coach. he seems like he really tries to teach the some of the young players we have and it seems like the players like him.
