Should have signed Sweetney instead

Did he even play anywhere last year? As fat as he was, he was a former lottery pick. You’d think he could have gotten a job in the D-League or in Europe.

I'll fire up the HSCS comment generator

Sweetney had too much post play at the PF for a Skiles team.

Sam Smith mentioned that the players union can’t even track down Sweetney (and he shouldn’t be too hard to find, amiright????). It’s pretty sad, though hopefully he squirreled away enough money, even with only 4 years in the league he made lots of coin.

He sure could

Even now, I still think he could be good enough to start in the league if he got in semi-respectable shape. Of course, I kind of doubt not playing in an entire year has done much to help him get in shape.

Does Bucks mean "glut of forwards who can't play defense" in some language?

Andrew Bogut is too solid and not small enough for Skiles. Noce+Kirk for Bogut,

Poor Sweets....

He could have been the starting PF for the Bulls long-term had he not been a fat sack of crap.

Why did they sign Lue?

Are they planning on trading Mo Williams? They were pretty deep already at point guard, with Williams and Ramon Sessions.

Lue rhymes with Du

If you can’t have the originator, improvise.

Sessions off limits - a Bucks Keeper

High price Mo Williams expendable, similiar to Kirk. Lue to backup Sessions if Mo can be shipped out.

Wow, really a gut of decent combo PGs on the market? Especially if you also include B.Gordon.

maybe skiles

will also push for the bucks to acquire adrian griffin, completing his reassembly of terrible role players

No way

Where theres A.G. theres Ben wallace, and skiles wants all the control….conference calls are an easy thing to do in this day and age you know….They can even have holograms now, like in star wars between the emporor and whoever his “apprentice” is…....

Skiles

Skiles was a good coach for us when we had him… I think he will be good for the Bucks for a lil bit too. Malik is not a bad player. He is a decent 4th or 5th big man and can hit open J’s, carries himself well, and doesnt try to do much. As for Lue goes, I am curious where Charlie Bell is. They matched his offer from Miami last year and then didnt use him and he wasnt effective in his role anyway. I am guessing he might be traded because of this, and if we trade Kirk, he is not too bad a back up who can be had in a trade cheap. Lue is a fast player and a good shooter. He is not a bad back up PG. Every once in a while he will have a WTF game where he scores 23 with 9 assists or hit a game winner., but more often than not he is average a decent back up point.

He's on a mission

from God.

Asked what kind of player he expects to be in the next five years, he said: "Not a star, but like, a superstar. Something around, like, Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, something like that."

I guess if anyone doesn't like where the Bulls are going

you can always tune in to the Bucks to see what could have been. This is going to be really weird when we play them this season.

Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.
