What happened to that MRI? (UPDATE)
[UPDATE: MRI results are in: minor tendonitis. -ed.]
Wasn't Rose getting an MRI on that knee this past weekend?
According to ESPN, Rose will likely undergo an MRI when he returns to Chicago this weekend.
How long does it take to get those results? From what I've seen in the past, not long at all. If he indeed got an MRI on the knee, the results should have already been revealed. Right? I just need that peace of mind. They keep saying that it's no big deal but I need the proof to finally stop worrying.

Turns out Reinsdorf couldn't afford to have it done.

I'm sure it's covered
under the Bulls BCBS.

Reinsdorf and all Bulls Bank Accounts
are frozen, their bank went under due to mortgage crisis. Chicago Bulls now only have a total of $100,000 guaranteed remaining. Jerry cancelled MRI.
Does that mean that P-On is starting now?

I came on the site because i was going to do a fanpost of what happened to the MRI. The exact words you used. I do not like that there is no report about the MRI. Usually you can see almost immediately what the MRI reveals. If there is a problem they often require further consultations or studies. I do not want to be paranoid but I am concerned and would like to know what is going on.
My dad had an MRI today...
He’ll get word of his results in 5-10 days.
Step 1 - Win lottery. Step 2 - Hire a coach. Step 3 - Win.
not sure that is relavent
Does your dad get paid millions for a profession that relies on his body to be in top shape?

I hear they pay pretty well.

hope both come out negative by the way
I’m sure we will find out status on Rose’s knee as soon as they know and would think the urgency on Rose would be high if the Bulls thought there was a chance it could be serious

MRI reads
the results take as long as it takes for a radiologist or orthopaedic surgeon to look at the images – about 10 minutes. So if he had the MRI done, I’m sure the images were reviewed immediately by all the team physicians. Whether or not the info was released is a different issue.
I agree - that is why no report concerns me.
A delay is consistent with finding something that is a concern. I hope this isn’t true.
Update: normal MRI, minor tendinitis
Injury report is up at Bulls.com:
Bulls guard Derrick Rose was evaluated Monday by Bulls team physician Dr. Brian Cole of Rush University Medical Center.
“Derrick has a mild case of tendonitis in his right knee," said Cole. A precautionary MRI was normal and Rose will continue therapy and be monitored very closely.
Relax, fanboys and girls.
yeah.
but I’ll just update this one.

Thank God is not serious
I was waiting for this news since the first day that he didn’t played on Summer League
Please Pax!!! Can you trade Hughes???
He's lucky B%#&@* isn't still around,
sitting out summer league with a wussy little thing like that – he’d have to earn his way just to get back to earning his way. ;)
If nothing else, taking Rose will at least piss off Pat Riley.
Nice.

I told you so.
Pretty much all ballers have tendinitis, you just have to work on getting the lower body stronger. Most young ballers hate squats and any type of lower body training.
Rose / Obama 08
yup, since heavy non-machine squats are EXTREMLY strenuous.
i do em but i hate to do em, and that never changes.
