Around SBN: New York Giants Super Bowl XLVI Ring Unveiled

It's kind of old news and in French, so I'll recap here what he states as his goals for this offseason. He says that, apart from July when he will travel to Switzerland for his camp, his main objectives for this offseason are to work out in Chicago all summer with the help of a Belgian "trainer". He's not quite happy with his role and impact on the team so far, and to get closer to having a bigger impact in the collective success of the team, he plans to work a lot this summer on his main weaknesses, which he lists as :
- strength training (weights)
- shooting (obviously)
- ball-handling (dribbling)

So there you go, hoping he can get closer to fulfiling his potential and help (maybe) bring more clarity to the guard logjam on the Chicago Bulls.

nice to see that he's correctly identified his biggest issues

I wonder if he’s working on them in that order though. I’d say his shooting is the area of his game that needs the most work, but weight training is always a good step to take as a young player particularly when you want to be a slasher / finisher (which is really where Thabo should do his damage).

I think he

Plans on attacking the rim alot more, and being a solid defensive stopper rather than just a shooter. thats what i think anyway. I also think that someone mustve approached him about possibly being a backup 3 which he could become if he got stronger. I think thabo might be pottentially our most versatile player (being able to play the 1, 2, or 3 positions) and i think having more strength will help close the gaps between the positions.

On Behalf of Sue, Wjb, Bullshooter, and all the other Hinrich fans...Ill keep the Hinrich Hope coming...There will be light....

it's kinda weird

that the english version doesn’t have the Q&A part… but the rest of it is translated. does he write the english part himself or is it translated somehow? the translation isn’t very good which is why i wonder if it’s his english or some text translator or something. if it were a good translator there wouldn’t be so many errors…

but glad to know he’s targeting the right things.

Good to see he has a work ethic

Early in the season, I was expecting him to come to my towns Iowa Energy D-league team. Im glad to see the Bulls kept him.

It has to be this year for Thabo

to prove he can start in this league. He’s 24 now, and shooting guards don’t typically improve much beyond this age. Ronnie Brewer – picked one spot after Thabo – made that leap last year.

And Brewer was paired up with a game changing PG

Thabo has that now. Someone as athletic as Thabo should greatly benefit from playing alongside Rose. Brewer isn’t an All-Star by any stretch, but he’s an efficient scorer who knows how to score near the basket. This team needs Thabo to be aggressive like that in order for them to have some kind of stability at the 2 spot, assuming BG is not part of the long-term plan.

I was a multiple time all star throughout my little league career. Won 5 championships- 4 in a row- thats more in a row than MJ… (kenwo4life@aol.com)

Or even if he is...

...there will be games when Gordon will be getting abused by a SG, and Thabo will have to play a lot to defend him. When that happens, Thabo needs his offensive game to be a lot better than it has been. If Sefolosha can even get to mediocre on offense, it gives this team a lot more options.

This sounds good

His defense is already good and could be better if he gets more aggressive. If he can get the offense to complement it and becomes more aggressive he will become a quality player.
