Bulls say tendinits will not be a problem
Apparently, the Bulls insist its not going to be a longterm problem, and they've already scheduled a workout program to strengthen Rose's knees

Strengthen Rose's knees....
Perhaps they could just infuse them with adamantium, or give him some kind of Iron Man-esque braces?

We've got a new one.
If JamesOn Curry makes the Bulls, a long shot, he will be suspended for one game by the NBA league office. Curry pleaded guilty to resisting an officer and public urination from a January arrest in Idaho.

How does he know?
Not that I expect him to, but if Gordon isn’t kept, I’d be surprised if PeeOn didn’t make it.

I wish KC would cut that out
If nothing else, taking Rose will at least piss off Pat Riley.

Brings back memories of when Matt e-mailed KC for a mailbag
And KC wondered who had time to run stats on their blog. Why is this city completely devoid of decent sports coverage when it comes to newspapers?

I can't nail him too bad with this one
because more than likely he’s right. But it should’ve been re-worded.
Something like “If JamesOn Curry makes the Bulls, whom team officials consider a long shot…” just sounds a whole lot better. It makes it sounds like it’s coming from an actual source instead of his own opinion.

I think "If" conveys all the uncertainty you need.
It’s one thing if he’s writing a story specifically about what the roster might look like, or doing an opinion piece on who he thinks fits, but all his little asides about players being traded or cut, just thrown in there for the hell of it, are beyond old. If he felt it essential to convey that Curry might not be on the team (again, beyond using “if”), he could have written about the team’s buy-out option.
Especially here, where he’s talking about a suspension based on an incident I’m sure JamesOn would love to forget, it’s just plain mean to throw in that he’s unlikely to make the team, especially stated as fact.
If nothing else, taking Rose will at least piss off Pat Riley.

Especially considering that he's often wrong
I mean, it sure doesn’t sound like Tyrus Thomas is being shopped. Maybe he is, but you’d think there would have been rumors about it if that were the case (especially considering all the leaks in the Bulls front office). He did say that Tyrus “will” be shopped, so he left no room for uncertainty there.

that was also before
tyrus seemed to have a big change in attitude, i think. vdn seems to be behind him, and tyrus seems to be working hard.

That doesn't matter...
Johnson’s wording, and this is what I think made everyone “upset” about it, made it sound as though the organization (i.e. Paxson and Reinsdorf) had had enough of Thomas and there was no way he was sticking around—like the reverse of Pete Meyers.

i wasn't really
defending KC, since it was a ridiculous statement to begin with. i was just saying i don’t think he would have made such a ballsy statement about tyrus’s status now since tyrus seems to be working hard.
