Free agents talks, trade talks, a Spurs run on Ben Gordon and the Bulls...?
Is the negotiation with Gordon and Deng going on? I hope so and they are closed fast. Almost every team is making a move and if Pax take too much time to make decisions we may be out of good options.
The Spurs will make a move on Ben Gordon (http://www.hoopsworld.com/Story.asp?story_id=9312). Some teams would like to add Hinrich. Well the opportunities are there but they won't wait forever.
May favorite option is to sign Gordon again and make the HInrinch-Camby trade. I think a Rose-Gordon-Deng-TT/Noah-Camby would be very good.
I don't believe will can really get Brand for hinrich and gooden, but with we do, go for it even if needed be to add a 1st round pick

Whoever writes that blog was extrapolating a lot from a small blurb about Gordon
This is all that was written about Gordon in the San Antonio Express News
Ben Gordon, Bulls, SG: Streaky shooter turned down a deal last summer that would have averaged $10.million over five seasons. Bad move. Mid-level exception is best he can hope for now. Bulls probably won’t match.
Considering the QO is more than the MLE. Don’t know who’s the source for the Express News, but that seems contrary to what every other report about the Bulls plans for BG this summer are.
We have every right to dream heroic dreams. Those who say that we're in a time when there are no heroes, they just don't know where to look.

Yeah, I'm not buying it,
but it’s kind of jaw-dropping to even imagine Pax saying the words “MLE” to BG’s agent. He’d obviously have to know that wouldn’t be well received. It just makes no sense that anyone would throw it out there, but then there’s plenty that doesn’t make sense in the NBA I suppose.
If nothing else, taking Rose will at least piss off Pat Riley.

Plus
That’s just smoke. Gordon’s “instant offense” game would be enticing to any contender. He is pooled on SI as the 6th most coveted free agent (yes ahead of Maggette and Deng and Iggy didn’t make that list likely because they are presumed to resign with their teams)....
Gordon will get some money, he’ll probably either sign the 1 yr qualifying offer in the hopes of cashing in at that $50M mark next season (he has to reprove himself this yr), or sign somewhere for $40M this year over 5 yrs….
