to clarify
What Rose/Beasley think about the presidential race: don’t care
What Obama thinks (or specifically, that he thinks) about the Bulls pick: pretty neat
What any of you think about Obama: really really really don’t care

This isn't change I can believe in
Derrick Rose? Si, se puede.

The busiest guy on the planet stays up to date on the Bulls draft. Funny.
We’ve had a football playing president (Ford), a baseball playing president (Bush1), and now in the year the Bulls get the #1 pick and begin in earnest their long journey back to the top, a basketball playing Bulls fan president.
Feels like destiny.

He's actually pretty good as well
Barack Obama mixtapes on YouTube are on par with the Hinrich ones.

Jimmy Kimmel had some clips of Obama on the court.
Obama said the guys knock him around just as they would any one else-and that’s with Obama’s bodyguard (I don’t remember his name-ex-college lineman, maybe even brief NFL-big guy, with some serious heft)-standing there on the sidelines, keeping things orderly.
I think it’d be fun, if not a little scary, to play in those games.

Reggie Love
He was the starting wide out at Duke AND he was on the bball team (bench player).
Man. The guy looks like a wide receiver
in the Marty Booker mold.

I like his ping pong hobby
another speedy field but not a motorcycle.
Derrick Rose: Obama is from Chicago, of course I have got to pick him. I don’t follow politics much, but I follow him.--that’s my boy!
"YES,WE CAN!"-B.OBAMA.
It would be funny to find a prospect that picks McCain...
Other than Spencer Hawes and his Bush bumper stickers:)
I would think he's got to be a pariah in the locker room.

Not when he tells them how much McCain will save them on their taxes.
Sorry Matt. Couldn’t resist
formerly sbulls
Well, Obama is not really *from* Chicago
But he spent his formative professional years doing community service on the South Side, so Derrick’s comment is valid. I’ll let this one slide.

John McCain
Thinks the Bulls should draft Arvydas Sabonis.

Shawn Bradley was
a POW for a short time in Afghanistan before killing his eight Taliban captors with flying elbows.
I can't stand the man
Barack Obama, that is, not Derrick Rose.
Talk about an emtpy suit! It’s strange that he’s running as a Senator from Illinois – being that he’s never actually SERVED as Senator for Illinois. He began running for President during his Senate run.
I’m surprised that anyone in Illinois thinks that he has fulfilled his fiduciary duty to the state! How many votes has he missed? How many votes critical to the state of Illinois and Lake Michigan has he missed?
It’ll be an interesting contradiction, seeing such a lightweight up on stage next to McCain, war hero, Congressman for decades, etc.
Lightweight, empty suit, talking head – thy name is Obama.

There really is a place for this
and I’m 99.9% sure it is not Blog-a-bull.
Let’s ring each other’s necks over Rose or Beasley and not this political stuff.

I didn't put the man's face on this blog....
....I only get an allergic reaction when I see it.
That, and I get diabetic when his followers start swooning over him.

I'm just wondering how much longer it'll be until comments are closed for this post
We have every right to dream heroic dreams. Those who say that we're in a time when there are no heroes, they just don't know where to look.
Ronald Reagan
Probably should've happened already
If we don’t talk politics about this post, there’s really nothing to say.
Of course Obama likes Derrick Rose and wants to see him as a Bull. And of course Derrick Rose probably feels the same way about Obama and wants to see him in the White House.

I hope that Option27 was also warned!!
What does “I love him” really mean? I don’t think he was talking about Derrick Rose.
And if you think YOU hate me – can you imagine what I have to deal with day after day in Seattle? Sheer, visceral hatred, not condemned by blog admin hatred.

yeah, hate him too.

So you'd advise
Riley to take Roy Hibbert over Mike Beasley.
Hey doofus
McCain has missed many more votes than Obama this year. If talking politics here is a crime, then presenting misleading information about politics is a felony.
