Interesting
Is Kareem Abdul-Jabar part of the package?
Proposed swap:
Deng for Bynum
Ron Adams+future front office intern+cash for Kareem
I heard Roy Hibbert's workout is scheduled for next week.

Dont trust his knee
...think ill pass on a laker scrub anyway who only looked good for a couple games, before he could handle his weight – literally

Health of both players
would be a concern of either team. Bynum’s injury is more serious, but Deng has had more varied problems in his short career. If you think Bynum “only looked good for a couple games”, you didn’t watch enough. It was more like 40, and he looked better than good.
Deng’s my fav Bulls player, but I think you’d have to do this trade. The Lakers would be trading the wrong front court guy, but it would make the team killer. Maybe more so than Bynum/Gasol/Odom even.
I’d be suspicious if Kupchack offered this, though. Get Bynum thoroughly checked.

LA didn't trade Bynum for Kidd or O'Neal
They’re not trading him for Deng just to get smaller up front when they’re getting killed on the boards during the Finals as we speak. Adding Bynum makes that team as close to complete as you can get. Also, if there is a Laker that is to be traded, it is most definitely going to be Odom.

Bulls fans have enough to worry about the next weeks—whom the team will name as head coach, whom John Paxson will take with the first overall pick in the draft—so it’s easing to the mind to hear that Tyrus Thomas and Luol Deng are working out with David Thorpe at IMG Academy in Florida this early in the offseason.

Wow.
In that picture, Tyrus looks about 4 inches taller than Deng. Which is funny cause according to ESPN and most major listings, they are both 6’9”. I know that listed height is always innacurate, but it’s funny to see it very so much in one picture.
