This is the kind of owner-speak that should worry fans

"The fans want a team that's winning," Heisley said. "There's a lot of discussion about style. But you don't hear the fans in San Antonio saying we don't run. Or the fans in Detroit saying we don't run. They're saying we win, and they're happy with that situation.
"I'm not saying that an up-tempo team isn't fantastic to watch. I love it, too. If you can be up-tempo and win that's great. I'm saying you've got to be up-tempo and play defense. We definitely need to improve on our defense."
So enough of the 'Jerry Reinsdorf said he likes defense and ball movement' crap. There's a big difference between Heisley's history of mismanagement, and placating to fans of d-fence in Chicago.

agreed, lets declare a moratorium
on mentioning Reinsdorf’s comments. He hires Paxson to run the basketball team, I think it’s in Pax’s job title or something.
Plus we all know that if he meddled with anything it’d be baseball.
