summary
:
-Apparently the Bulls players thought Duhon was the best PG, and that was part of the dissension? (note to self: Bulls players are dumb)
-Collins is intense a la Skiles, but doesn’t mean the Bulls won’t respond. They were simply sick of Skiles.
-Coaching hire no effect on pick. Noah incidents only emphasize Pax’s desire for a ‘leader’ and thus why the favorite is Rose.

the fact that they thought Duhon was the best
shows yet again that players opinions shouldn’t matter too much.
But is Bucher basing this on talking with Duhon? That’s what I want to know. Like Du tells him over a glass of Gray Goose they liked me best, boo hoo.

It sounds like the Kirk-Du thing was specific to Skiles tenure,
which would place it squarely in the period that Kirk was playing like absolute crap. As much argument as there was around here about whether he should be benched or play through it, and as quick as Skiles was to bench others, I have no trouble believing it caused a little dissension on the team.
Here's to the most exciting offseason in a VERY long time!
yep, I stopped Bucher at "Chris Duhon"
Not a surprise that the players feel that way (or Bucher just reads between K.C. Johnson’s lines) after seeing the results of a coachless season. I can see how Duhon could be perceived as getting his teammates more shots, but it’s only because he doesn’t shoot.
