Ludicrous trades

Hey I just wanted to start a thread for all the ludicrous trades that have been proposed  from other sites.

I thought about this  cause living in Houston there's a lot of bloggers who want Hinrich.

They're proposing hinrich/gordon/deng for t-mac and a hospital bed.

Its been making me laugh, and making me wistful for Sam Smith.

anyways its good for a quick laugh, they drink the kool aid deep in H-town

this ones a bit more realistic...

I also saw maggette for hinrich not sure where though

I like how he throws out Battier for Deng

And then says “Battier is not a guy who can ever be a 3rd option.” Sounds like a heckuva trade to me! Where do we sign??

IF T MAC CAN STAY HEALTHY.....

that would be a deal i would like to see done….if u want all three though to match salaries Houston would have to add Carl Landry…we’ll even give Houston Big Aaron Gray for good measure…

so the official trade would go like this :

T Mac and Carl Landry for Kirk Hinrich( Manuever-i throw up when i see him dribble around the rim six times in a row lol) Luol Deng, Ben Gordon(he falls down to much for me i litterally seen him fall down shooting free throws) and last but certainly not least AARON GRAY

PG Derrick Rose
SG Thabo Sefolosha!!!
SF T MAC
PF Tyrus or Drew Gooden
C Joakim “SIDE SHOW BOB with cognac” Noah

Bench Larry Hughes…Noch….Landry….resign Duhon…..Tyrus or Gooden

CHICAGO MANE!!!!

i would like for us to be able to keep deng in this trade

instead of deng maybe offer someone else or a draft pick if possible. our team would then become pretty studly

no chance

i wouldnt take a gamble on mcgrady without them taking huges at the least

I don't know what to put there...

by Yibs on May 27, 2008 6:18 PM CDT reply actions

mcgrady is bad news

on the eve of drafting a 19 year old franchise player why would we even attempt to throw away our young roster for an aging, crippled star?
i personally think we should keep hinrich and drop duhon and forget this trading business altogether…. hinrich is definitely a more capable backup pg/sg than duhon, as a rookie rose will inevitably struggle, we should have at least some experience and energy off the bench
hinrich off the bench i believe would be an incredible asset to the team, as is evidenced by houston as well as other teams’ desire to trade for him
and if rose is the pg everyone thinks him to be, gooden/tyrus/noah will be better than solid down low… and that’s not to mention all the open looks hughes/gordon/deng will get
simply adding rose and subtracting duhon is the best scenario of all, albeit less exciting

I agree

Don’t want to get rid of Hinrich. He’s (Worst Case Scenario) a better 2nd PG than Duhon.

I’m open to ONE of either Deng or Gordon being traded because T-Mac can fill one of either spots and we have enough to cover with Noc and Thabo. Best case scenario we gut Deng or Noc so one of them can spell T-Mac. Given the way T-Mac’s been missing games, we can limit his minutes to keep him fresh for the Playoffs.

However, I take back EVERYTHING I have just said if it doesn’t involve us getting rid of Hughes.

ludicrous

I really don’t see what’s so ludicrous about my trade idea…

the Bulls do not want Hinrich and his big contract (especially if they draft Rose)
the Bulls already have contract issues with Deng and Gordon—and might need to salvage whatever they can get for those two.

the Rockets have the kind of player you would need if the Bulls draft Rose (McGrady)
the Rockets would need to get rid of Rafer if they picked up Hinrich

and for the person who suggested that the Rockets throw-in Carl Landry to complete the trade: ha-ha If Landry or Luis Scola are even mentioned in trade talks, our city might riot against the ownership. Those guys are untouchable.

Okay maybe not ludicrous

I just don’t seeing it benefiting the Bulls at all.

First we are giving up way too much, I am not in love with any of those players you mentioned and I think we will need to trade them. I don’t think we will need to trade all 3 especially Deng.
If we keep the pick you would want the team to age at the same time. T-Mac is on the downside of his career. I would trade two of those players like hinrich and gordon but not Deng.

Also looking at T-mac, I really question his killer instinct. He seems to get hurt in play off time alot. I don’t see him winning at the next level.

Rafer is a good pg, I don’t know why he gets so much heat in Houston. I think Houston wins that Jazz series if he is healthy.

Its not Ludicrous but it definitely helps your team more than ours
