NBA ALL-DEFENSIVE TEAM ... guess who got one vote?
Andres "I wonder which NBA coach gave me a 2nd-team vote because I play hard and he did not notice my late closeouts and lack of lateral movement" Nocioni
Kirk Hinrich follows his 2nd-team appearance last year with a one 1st-team vote and one 2nd-team vote this year.

No surprise not to have anyone on the all-defensive teams this year,
given the way they played. BIG surprise that somebody would vote for Noc, given all the other options out there!
My Bulls may suck, but my Jayhawks are National Champs!

I laughed my ass off when he was named 1st team
It just proves yet again that most basketball “journalists” lack all credibility on the league when it doesn’t involve Kobe Bryant or LeBron James.

My mistake
I figured since they voted for MVP and whatnot, they also had a say on these teams. So, how does a coach who must watch hundreds of hours of game film deduce Marcus Camby is the best individual defensive center in the league? I’m just confused here.
