New Bulls Beat - 4/29

Lots of coaching replacement talk and draft talk in this cast (stuff that has been hashed and re-hashed here), no real big juicy tidbits...

One item of note:

-Rumored that if Carlise is selected, his staff would consist of Dwayne Casey, Terry Stotts, and Bill Cartwright

My favorite part was his analysis of DeAndre Jordan

The offensive game of Kwame Brown and the defensive game of Eddy Curry.

So much more visual an image than I could ever come up with to describe why I hope the Bulls don’t go there!

My Bulls may suck, but my Jayhawks are National Champs!

haven't listened to it yet

but somewhere ‘armstrong230432202736’ is weeping.

my favorite part

was his analysis of Kevin Love…basically saying that he would be a bust because he has short arms, and is slow and white…i couldn’t really disagree though

lol - unfortunately followed up by the idea that Love is who the Bulls should take

since they’ve shown no ability to develop guys that need a little direction. That cracked me up for some reason, even if it’s depressing.

It was something along the lines of Love having the lowest ceiling, but being the only one (of the 4 he broke down today) capable of reaching that ceiling without going to a team that can handle developing projects.

yeah, that depressed me as well

it was almost like asking someone, would you rather have the flu or a rash on your feet? Both are pretty bad, yet one slightly more tolerable…I think….

Man, I REALLY hope somehow the Bulls can luck into one of the top 2 picks

Stern has to

Right? NY and Chicago get the top 2 picks, the 4 most important NBA cities are playoff contenders next year….

Uhh, I mean there are no conspiracies in the NBA.

Rusty Longley v 2.0

Didn't he average more fouls than points?

At one point in the season? Why is he even in the draft, that guy is screaming for one more year. And, everyone has been saying he has a poor work ethic. Yet, he’s a great fit for the team because he is ridiculously raw, and doesn’t want to work, and didn’t play that well down the stretch in college? Sheesh, and people think Kevin Love would be bad.
