Around SBN: Josh Hamilton's Unique Public Statement On His Addiction

Jim Boylan Doomsday Clock

In witnessing the latest Bulls debacle, I would like to commend Coach Boylan on some particularly exceptional defensive breakdowns and offensive inadequacy:

  1.  Four back door layups by Kings guards in the first half.
  2.  Repeated inability to rotate to stop penetrating wings.
  3.  Frequent out of control close outs on shooters, leaving help defense in terrible positions and open shooters everywhere.
  4.  Inability to rein in the team - at critical points in abortive comeback attempts, the Bulls pick up three technical fouls that effectively stopped momentum.
  5.  Running three straight offensive sets at the start of the 4th quarter that ended up with Tyrus Thomas as the go to guy.
  6.  An inability to make the Kings pay for overplaying every screen role, exacerbated by the fact that Bulls bigs always try to slip the screen and rarely get a body on anybody.
These are not new complaints or observations, it was fortuitous that they all coalesced (again) tonight in Sacramento.  With Boylan running on fumes, who can right this ship next season?  And with what players?

boylan is
just the last piece to sink the bulls.  I am honestly at a loss for words with this year.  All i know is that boylan though not doing the best of jobs is the last reason for the buls doing so bad.  I also was thinking how i blamed wallace for alot of things. i was watching his game today and you know what prevents wallace from being the one from the pistons?  It is the fact that we do not have a dominant 4 like Rasheed wallace was and the fact that the other four pistons all could score and we cant do it on a consistent basis which makes the lack of offense of ben wallace stand out even more but when in all actuallity he was not brought here for offense.

who is to blame

  1. Hinrich for playing so lousy.  I cannot believe we payed all this money to a guy that keeps making the same mistakes again and again on running the team(to many stupid lazy passes), and his defense.  He really lookes like a different player this year.  Kind of makes me think that every single player is playing for money only
  2. Gordon.  He got us here now its time to pull the trigger on him and get a taller gaurd.  The only way this can work with gordon is if he accepts his role and the money for that role and we get another scoring option in the starting five.
  3. Us for thinking deng was the solution when clearly he is a good player but only a compliment to a great player.
  4.  I love noce and i think he is very valuable to this team but i also think that he just keeps making the same mistakes again and again on defense.
BIGGEST SURPRISE THIS YEAR NOAH AND GRAY

I dont think this season is lost.  i Figure as of today the bulls are 18 and 28.  I dont think going 23 and 13 is a stretch for the bulls to break even.  I hope that they can get that far.
