Around SBN: Tottenham's Plans for Northumberland Stadium Approved

Gotta love the Chicago media and the Bulls organization. Ben breaks Scottie's record, surely it's posted on the Bulls web site right...uhhh no. Surely the beat writers had a nice lil story about it...negative. Surely our top-notch broadcast team made special mention of it...not so fast.

A two lil measly paragraphs in KC's lil blog was all it got. Nothing from Hanley, nothing from Jackson, one sentence from McGraw.

Ben really is the Rodney Dangerfield of the city of Chicago, let alone this team. Who knows, maybe the ATL loss de-emphasized the feat...in any event, I have a sinking feeling in my gut that if Kirk would've broken the record (which the papers started picking up on the story last year when it was noticed that he was close), there would've been a parade at Grant Park.

Would you want to come back to this?

I bet he can’t wait to get away from this organization

Exactly

Which is why cap space in the 2009 off-season will have little significance.

"He's not scared to take that shot," Rose said. "That's Larry. No matter what, I don't need to remind him to shoot. He's willing to shoot any time."

it's not really an important record

but I guess the test will be when “Kirk Hinrich: starting 2 guard” breaks it next year.

true

but how many times does a member of the top 50 players of all time get his record broken? It would be nice to see him get some type of recognition.

Awesome!

"You remember the first time you picked up a basketball video game and you had no idea how to run plays, so you just gave the ball to your shooter and you ran around the court aimlessly until a defender was far enough away and then you jacked up a shot? THAT IS LARRY HUGHES!"
