you fail.
"You remember the first time you picked up a basketball video game and you had no idea how to run plays, so you just gave the ball to your shooter and you ran around the court aimlessly until a defender was far enough away and then you jacked up a shot? THAT IS LARRY HUGHES!"

Positives – Thabo’s playing time, Gordon’s shots, Rose’s tenacity
Negatives – Allowing second-chance points, leaving Joe Johnson open, and it seems people are not liking Nocioni more than usual
"He's not scared to take that shot," Rose said. "That's Larry. No matter what, I don't need to remind him to shoot. He's willing to shoot any time."

i get too emotional with Noce..
i don’t just not like him… i get nervous and very aggressive when he chucks bricks around… definitely hate him more than Hughes! And i hate hughes though!
My hate for Noce is just at another level…

Box Score says he played 7 minutes?
felt like 20

Noce / Hughes / Noah can go...
Keep Thabo Thomas… not the other way round like the rumours would say 2 weeks ago…

If Joakim can play even half of how he did in Florida
I’ll be a happy camper

Which will never happen, unfortunately

That is the problem
He is playing half, but now he’s in the NBA. He was an oversized, fast PF in college. He’s a very weak center with no post game in the pros. His only offense is going to come when he’s first up the court and can downtown on a mismatch.
by California Al on Dec 27, 2008 7:21 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
But he's never the first up or down
For all the raves about his work ethic and willingness to win pre-draft, I don’t see much of it.

Agreed, we got shafted in this one
Maybe we’ll be lucky to find some coach who’d be wiling to break his head in or “motivate hm” ala Sheed Wallace
by Alighieri on Dec 27, 2008 7:25 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
If he was actually a full-time hustle player
(instead of just the first 2 minutes he’s on the court), he’d be a legit NBA big man.

I think this is just an off year ...
he didn’t come in ready to work, he’s out of shape, etc. etc., and next year he’ll be back strong.
I really do feel that way. I know, seems odd … but … yeah.
"You remember the first time you picked up a basketball video game and you had no idea how to run plays, so you just gave the ball to your shooter and you ran around the court aimlessly until a defender was far enough away and then you jacked up a shot? THAT IS LARRY HUGHES!"

Play Rose, Gordon, Thabo, Tyrus, and Noah
That’s their best hope for a good defensive lineup. They need rebounding to the maximus to win the game. It is absolutely pathetic to shoot 62% from the field and be LOSING by 5.

ABSOLUTELY
Give one to the fans; just one, dammit. Everyone here has been crying for that lineup for two years (ok, only since we won the ping pong ball).

Actually,
I’m more surprised than anything else, if Thabo was this effective on offense last year, Deng wouldn’t have received such a huge extension
by Alighieri on Dec 27, 2008 7:23 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
If Thabo was this effective Deng would have been traded 3 years ago

Rose overrated?
Is Rose’s inability to get assists these days because the rest of the Bulls can’t hit a shot? Or is there another reason?
by wilsoneads on Dec 27, 2008 7:26 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
1 outside shooter and noone that can finish inside
and Vinny refuses to teach Rose and Tyrus the pick and roll

62 PERCENT SHOOTING?????
since that’s impossible for a Bulls team, I’m thinking the bulls shoot no better than 38% this half
by wilsoneads on Dec 27, 2008 7:27 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
thabo is 5 for 5 and BG is on fire
but as you said… im affraid the 2nd half is gonna compensate this to bring it back to normal %s

Can’t remember the exact result

Set by Gray. (Ok, so I wasn’t really counting the WHOLE time…)
It’s not like the screen is an integral part of bball or anything…

agreed
Does he have any kind of outside shot? Can’t see him contributing much on the blocks, but that is one large screen. Now if he could only develop an Okur or Laimbeer set shot.
