Looks like he has hit a bit of a trough. The NBA season is long and young players tend to have ups and downs (unless your name was Michael Jordan and you kicked ass from the beginning to the end of your rookie year). Could be a down time for him. But he’ll bounce back.

I don't doubt that, it probably speaks more to the issues with this team

that third best player on the team who they just gave an extension and isn’t playing great is probably the last player I think of when reading game stories and checking box scores.

If Rose isn't going to shoot at the end....

…of quarters/halves, then I want Gordon taking those shots. Noce is a bit out of his element driving to the basket at that point in the game. Ideally though, we’ll have Gordon and Rose on the court most times when the clock is winding down. Those are two guys who will take and make shots. Noce struggles with quick defenders in situations like that.

Just about every player on this team other than Hughes and Gooden

can reasonably be expected to play better as the season goes on. Now, if we could count on VDN coaching better, I don’t think 45-48 wins is too far fetched.
