Looks like he has hit a bit of a trough. The NBA season is long and young players tend to have ups and downs (unless your name was Michael Jordan and you kicked ass from the beginning to the end of your rookie year). Could be a down time for him. But he’ll bounce back.

If Rose isn't going to shoot at the end....
…of quarters/halves, then I want Gordon taking those shots. Noce is a bit out of his element driving to the basket at that point in the game. Ideally though, we’ll have Gordon and Rose on the court most times when the clock is winding down. Those are two guys who will take and make shots. Noce struggles with quick defenders in situations like that.

HAHAH
Steve Novak is in. You have to read Bill Simmons piece from a few weeks back about the NBA to fully appreciate what just happened!
If we aren't careful, the leanness we now feel will be the starvation of those we serve.

i remember the column
its a “matchups” mistake that you could see vdn making. Basically, about how dunleavy likes to put “specialists” who have been on the bench the entire game into clutch situations and then run plays for them. For example, he mentioned novak in that situation and the daniel ewing sub a couple of years ago in the playoffs

Right,
The thing that killed me in the story was that Novak was STRETCHING. He had to stretch to get loose right before the game ended.
But more importantly, The idea of putting in an ice clod player in a crunch time situation is just ridiculous.

like when doc rivers
put tony allen in cold to guard billups on the last play, where they blew the game to detroit on the foul call.

Classic "bad good" Larry.
General manager needs the ability to foretell what is going to happen tomorrow, next week, next month, and next year. And to have the ability afterwards to explain why it didn't happen.

Larry
You gotta be kidding me
Maybe you should ask if you can shoot the free throws whilst fading away to your left and a Clipper in your face?
