If only that was more helpful. I doubt it.

Does Derrick have to play so many minutes if he's not gonna do anything?

Seriously I understand Lebron playing that much because he’s always involved, but if Derrick’s just gonna walk the ball up and dump it off to Drew Gooden than let him watch from the bench a little more often.

by Juiceboxjerry on Dec 16, 2008 7:02 PM CST reply actions

Agreed.

let him rest a bit and put him back in when you need him.

But by having Rose in that changed the def. scheme

I honestly believe that Rose just being there makes Charlotte change how they defend. Rose provides “passive offense”

Just stop making those weak ass high screens because all they do is bring another defender on Rose while Noah/Gooden spot up for a stupid 20 footer. He can get around these guards at will…TELL HIM TO ATTACK VDN!!!

he argued on a foul (or a non-foul to my opinion) on a silly BG fadeaway airball jumper

Derrick

He has been trying to hard to show he is a distributor. He is a lot better when he looks for his own offense first by breaking down the defense. He is not gonna be a typical PG, he needs to just attack attack attack and when the D keys in on him, then he can find the open man.

He is way too passive now, someone please let him off the leash before we lose this game.
