For better or worse, Gordon is apparently going to shoot

every time he gets the ball.

Sometimes, good, Sometimes, no.

For all you Gordon apologists

The play with 10.34 remaining in the fourth quarter is emblematic of why he is simply unwatchable and can never be a starter, or for that matter even a contributer on a championship caliber team. You may recall that he stormed into the lane on a drive like a Bull in a china shop and splattered himself on the floor like a sack of bricks dropped from the roof of a three story building lost the ball of his knee, forehead and any other body part not associated with actual ball handling. Naturally no foul was called and Gordon dragged himself to his feet like Jim Brown after a game in which he rushed for 300 yards. Then he threw his hands up in the air with that braindead look on his face that he always gets after one of his patented drives which always end with him sprawled on the floor while the other team races down the floor for an easy transition basket. The fact that this is a normal play for Gordon should leave no room for debate with anyone with even a middling basketball I.Q.

Yea, he make a couple of ridiculous shots tonight, but they were still ridiculous. Even if he was the second coming of Michael Jordan & Wilt Chamberlain combined on offense it wouldn’t make up for his absolute lack of any other discernable basketball skills, zero, zip, nada. Couple that with his complete lack of any internal organs necessary for successfull human activity (i.e. a heart or a brain for starters) and you have the most uselessly one dimesional player in the history of a league full of useless one dimensional humans.

LeBron was only averaging 22 ppg coming into this game.

The BUlls will cure that.

3 guard lineup, KD has been proven prophetic.

Vinny thinks this lineup works now. UGH.

by fundamentallysound on Nov 5, 2008 9:03 PM CST   0 recs

It must be by design that Gordon is running the offense.

He just did it coming out of a break.

A dubious design, but a design.

Can we please not

cut to Lebron eating his fingers on the bench? Crotch adjusting and now that? The camera guy sucks. He must be playing for his contract or something.

Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.

Ty Thomas

Why isn’t he playing a lot? I need to know if he’s being dropped from my fantasy team tonight.

Where will you be when the Sixers hoist the Larry O'Brien trophy? Hopefully Liberty Ballers.

by jsams on Nov 5, 2008 9:04 PM CST   0 recs

If it's a 10-team league with normal depth:

drop him. Pick up Jason Thompson or Jason Maxiell. If it’s a keeper league, keep him for a while more. If it’s a deeper league, hang on to him. He’ll be inconsistent, but he’ll give you stats you can’t get anywhere else for the same price.

by arjoseph on Nov 5, 2008 9:07 PM CST to parent up   0 recs

And if it's a Blog-a-Bulls league...

You should be able to trade him for anyone else’s best player.

Why just the 1 best player

Trade Tyrus to the Heat for Wade and Marion….the Heat are worse off than us anyway, they can see Tyrus improve, and meanwhile won’t lose Marion for nothing. As a sweetener for the Heat, we can give them Hughes and Thabo….there you go :)

VDN is killing us with this line-up

and he needs to put the ball in Rose’s hands.

Hinrich just did his best Larry Hughes impression.

He just dribbled casually up the court, sauntered to the elbow, and threw up a jumper with 20 seconds left on the shot clock.

LSU 38 OHIO STATE 24 - LSU IS THE NATIONAL CHAMPION AND I AM THE KING OF BOURBON STREET!!

by 1958ChiTown on Nov 5, 2008 9:11 PM CST   0 recs

I was thinking to keep Hinrich

before season,to back up rookie.
But Rose doesn’t need time to adjust for NBA.
We gotta get rid of Kirk. And try to get decent center.
What about that Brad Miller talks?

by Azabullsfan on Nov 5, 2008 9:12 PM CST   0 recs

Why do folks

Want modern Brad Miller…..he slipped big time, had an OK year, and OK year folks last year at what 33??? Let him stay in Sacramento, he’s not the former Bull Brad Miller these days (or even better the 2000 King)….he’s old and has had some drug issues.

We should avoid that, he won’t make us any better.

by majoyenrac on Nov 5, 2008 10:38 PM CST to parent up   0 recs

we need more of VDN wired

to see what the hell he is telling these guys

Perhaps he's asking Ben

What Would Skiles Do?

by Protocol on Nov 5, 2008 9:16 PM CST to parent up   0 recs

I'd typically be against this, but

Why don’t they let Kirk handle the point, pitch it to Rose to create as a two-guard, and allow him to either drive or hit the open cutter (if said cutters even exist)?

Dear Kirk:

B.J. for three.... KABOOM!

by chibullsfan03 on Nov 5, 2008 9:13 PM CST   0 recs

Maybe Ben is handling the ball as much as he is

because they’re trying to see if he can play PG in a surreptitious manner. This would allow them to deal Hinrich hopefully for frontcourt help.

by messwiththebull on Nov 5, 2008 9:14 PM CST   0 recs

well, he has 5 assists

Please Pax, don't trade Hughes! Just make sure that he stays injured until... 2010!!!

I was agreeing with you

by bull83 on Nov 5, 2008 9:17 PM CST to parent up   0 recs

There's nothing surreptitious about his playing PG. His domination of the ball is pretty obvious.

And there’s really no point in auditioning him for the post of backup anyway as he’s probably gone after this year.

Gordon really is shooting every time.

As much as it makes me cackle, he really isn’t the one costing the Bulls this game.

It’s our defense.

Maybe VDN told BG to shoot every time.
