by messwiththebull on Nov 3, 2008 6:50 PM CST up reply actions

i'm sorry

but nobody is telling Tyrus to shoot every time he gets the ball. They pass to him because they are trapping his man and he just shoots. He can pass the ball too. That is part of the offense

by DangerMouse on Nov 3, 2008 6:50 PM CST up reply actions

Sure it is.

But if the guy keeps doing it, it’s time the coach tells him not to. And if he’s incapable of learning, and you want to get the most out of your players, you need to put them where they don’t get consistently get the ball 18-ft from the basket.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m putting the blame on Tyrus, too. Just that, if I have a dog that keeps running out into the street, I put him on a leash.

beat all the bad teams (sadly, some of those games will be close)
lose to all the good teams
get embarrassed by the really good teams

Remind me ..

1) why are we happy that Deng was the team’s first priority, signing for 72 million during the summer?
2) Does it seems as if Tyrus thinks in slow motion on the court?

Are there any two starting forwards

who are playing worse than Deng and Thomas right now.
