OT: Where annoying happens! Anyone else hate "The Piano" NBA, "Where ____ Happens" Ads ?

Man, if I gotta hear that monotonous piano playing that same tune over and

over again in the NBA, "Where ____ Happens" ads, I'm gonna puke!

Anyone else annoyed?

What about a worldwide fan petition to stop the piano?

I see a lot of Hoops BBs where guys are saying they are sick of it.

All summer I feared this, and now, it's baaaaack.

Ugh, I have to mute it now, it's so annoying!

And it was shown

every single commercial break. If they showed it just once or twice game it wouldn’t be so bad.

Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.

The sad piano

I thought the players would speak about donation for cancer kids or something not NBA games

Get used to it

You should write a written complaint to the NBA if you dislike that much.

The league is probably contractually committed to keep running the pitch for a few more years.

“I love this game” is gone. “It’s fan-tastic” is gone. This “it happens” crap is here for a while.

In a trust with Vinny Del Negro.

I was upset

With Halloween that they didn’t have one like the following:

Start with the Melo-Nate Robinson-JR Smith fight, then show just some insane Rasheed yelling obscentities to the refs, to help add some setting,s and finally flash to the Pacers-Pistons brawl for the tag line “Where pandemonium, severe injuries, and crime happens”….

That would have been a perfect Halloween ad for the league…

I actually like those ads though. I guess I’m weird.

It would be fun to also have an add that says:

“Where Jared Reiner can make this league, and Zarko Caprhorka (Spelled wrong) get drafted, and where Darko Milicic is picked over Bosh, Wade, Melo, Howard….and finally end with a closeup of some bad Antoinne Walker moments and say "where this man could have been a multiple all star despite playing the game like this, even if he had considerable talents”

And finally the last one should be:

The NBA: Where this man (show highlights of all the insane Stephon Marbury comments and press conferences over the years) can make $150M and counting….

or how bout

where crashing a moped and breaking your contract but you still get paid happens!

Yeah that works as the clincher maybe after

Where retiring and out of the league for a year then netting a cool $4M as part of the Jason Kidd trade just for sitting on your ass and not actually signing the retirement papers happens.

The piano music is called "Everyday" by Carly Comando. The song is almost six minutes long and has more variation.

I like the music, but constantly repeating the same three spots gets on your nerves rather soon.

Favorite Commercials Nba:

3) Jordan vs jordan (vs Jordan)

-Shows the evoloution of jordans game, as well as what i think is an inner struggle within jordan. I like how he trash talks to himself, its quite hilarious.

2)Joran XXI commercial (the one with the kids mimicking jordans moves)

-The music and footage pump me up and get me wanting to go out and play myself, especially love the kid who does jordans “last shot (as a bull)”.

1) Its not about the shoes (become legendary)

-The best music in a basketball commercial i have ever heard, love the jordan narration, and the scenes that go with them (especially the chris paul scene) and more importantly the end of the commercial gives me goosebumps when jordan says “its about becoming who you were meant to be” and theres the footage of a shaky camera barely capturing a young boy wearing 12. So many people were in attendence in that one little footage, who knew that boy would become the greatest ever.

On Behalf of Sue, Wjb, Bullshooter, and all the other Hinrich fans...Ill keep the Hinrich Hope coming...There will be light....
