Around SBN: Jeremy Lin And How The Pac-12 Missed Him

Sounds like Stephen A. Smith at his rumor starting best. I'm not sure if Stoudemire wants to win as much as he wants to be "that guy" ala Shawn Marion. Either way, if he wants to bolt Phoenix in 2010 and the Bulls have the cap room, I wouldn't complain. You can still be "that guy" and defer to the point god Amare!!

List of "that guys" in the NBA:

Bulls: Rose
Celtics: Garnett/Pierce
Nets: Carter
Sixers: Brand
Raptors: Bosh
Cavaliers: James
Bucks: Redd
Bobcats: Richardson
Heat: Wade
Magic: Howard
Wizards: Arenas (when actually on the floor)/Butler
Mavericks: Nowitzki
Rockets: McGrady/Yao (see: Arenas)
Grizzlies: Gay (kinda)
Hornets: Paul
Spurs: Duncan
Nuggets: Anthony
Timberwolves: Jefferson
Trailblazers: Roy
Thunder: Durant
Jazz: Williams/Boozer
Clippers: Davis
Lakers: Bryant
Suns: Nash/Shaq
Kings: Martin

Which Leaves:
Pacers
Knicks

And since the world assumes the Knicks will be LeBron’s team in 2010….that leaves the Indiana Pacers.

Have fun, STAT

yeah I considered that, so it's tricky

James is somewhere between Cleveland and New York right now (which, according to Google, is near Bellefonte, PA)

That list of "that" guys is pretty sad.

Not mention you missed Atlanta and Golden State…

But really, the Suns with Shaq/Nash in 2010…in orthopedic basketball shoes…Elton Brand as that guy? Please, he is the worst 20/10 player in the NBA., the Sixers are Iggy’s team…Vince Carter in NJ in 2010, he is an expiring contract at best….Garnett and Pierce will barely be in the league in two years in Boston…If Redd, Richardson, Arenas or Martin your team’s “that” guy, then that team does not have “that” guy…

I think Amare has plenty of options to be that guy.

Um, half those teams would jump at getting Amare and letting him be the go-to guy

The Bulls included.

the list was for entertainment purposes and not to be taken seriously
