Bowen is going to continually mug Rose tonight.

He’ll get away with it too, because he is a “tough veteran defender.”

by bull83 on Nov 26, 2008 7:59 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

all this stems from bad lineups and players refusing to accept their role.

by studdeir on Nov 26, 2008 8:00 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

We cannot play small against this team

It’s one thing against Golden State or Utah, but this is going to turn into a blow out real fast if this is Pantene’s plan b.

by lampnasty on Nov 26, 2008 8:00 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

my point is that rose is our pg, gordon didnt take a quick three, he wasn’t open, if he missed it people would be saying it was a bad shot.

by studdeir on Nov 26, 2008 8:04 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

i swear gordon is playing keep away

by studdeir on Nov 26, 2008 8:04 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

that's his game

and so long as he shoots at a 46 percent clip from three, that’s great. My point was that having Noc and Gooden in on defense is retarded against the spurs. They can pick and roll with Duncan and there’s an automatic mismatch and no possible help defense.

by lampnasty on Nov 26, 2008 8:07 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

i dont care about that three, he didnt even look to rose.

by studdeir on Nov 26, 2008 8:03 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

i think it takes him a half to determine what his role is for the night. the lineups probably through him off a bit. half way through he just says fu*k it and dominates.

by studdeir on Nov 26, 2008 8:09 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

With this team

he almost needs to be that way, but he actually trys to get others theirs, before he decides that he needs to take his, which will be really nice when(and if) we get a star to play with him.

by TruEChiFaN... on Nov 26, 2008 8:09 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Thomas should not be allowed to shoot anywhere outside of 5 feet.

I know it seemed like he was starting to develop a consistent mid-range shot, but he’s regressed.

i think it was that year I had him on my fantasy team

I amnot enamored with the fact that Rose is starting to

settle for that little jumper.

But I suppose it is unrealistic to expect him to go to the rim every possession.

Gordon just plays one on one.

You can tell when he pre-determines that he is going to shoot. He puts his head down and pounds the ball hard.

by studdeir on Nov 26, 2008 8:36 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

i know. that type of play was a little different though. a shot needed to happen within 8 seconds. still, absolutely, when he is on that will fall, but what about rose driving in to dish to BG for a 3? i dont think bg has good enough body control and handles to do that consistently

by studdeir on Nov 26, 2008 8:41 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Welp

Deng was more aggressive, the shooting was solid and you guys had good minutes out of Grey in the pick and roll.

I think that the spurs hit their 3’s in the second and draw away but maybe not. Close game.

I'm with you

I think Bg is under the radar in terms of value. I still don’t think its a 12 million dollar value but he is worth every penny of the 9.

He shoots really well and Rose brings out the best in him.

rose brings out the competitor in ben. but i want a more symbiotic relationship that involves more teamwork. i want rose to bring out the shooter in ben, not the drive to the hoop ben. they could be a great tandem.

by studdeir on Nov 26, 2008 8:44 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

IMO, he doesn't play with Rose at all.

He’s playing against Rose in a little one on one competition which takes place solely in his mind.

Gordon gets the ball; decides he is going to shoot regardless of time, situation, or what is occurring on the remainder of the court; pounds the ball; and then fires.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

IN the end of game situations when the opposing team is actually playing defense, it usually doesn’t.

True

But at the end of the day I think after playing with rose and co and having a good season he is going to explore the market and find there is no one else out there willing to give him that kind of money.

Everyones saving their s##t up for 2010, across the league teams are trying to cut payroll it’s one of the reasons the bulls love Larry Hughes its a prime 2010 contract at 13 million bucks.

In the end the bulls will probably be the team that can afford him

What's the thing with Gray?

Why is our best defender (TT) on the bench. Wake up Vinny, Wake Up…

In greys defence

he was getting rose some great looks off pick and rolls in the high post earlier

We need to defend. He can’t defend anyone…

Gray is lucky he has Rose as a teammate.

He’s just too slow. If he ever gets crossed over by Rose his head might explode.

Thank God Tyrus is rotting away on the bench.

Otherwise he may have been blamed for the Bulls being outscored 19 to 4.

I have never got him…

Why is he seemingly a venerated player in the media? He just..can’t shoot..or ..i mean he is shite

Hill is playing a great game for them.

HE sparked the comeback. When he was inserted, the defensive matchups changed and the Bulls haven’t adjusted.

we clearly need to to give skiles retro active COY awards

say what you want about the end of his term here, but he got this team of players who were younger at the time to not suck and make the playoffs

I'd take a sack of shit over skiles

Every team he’s ever coached he’s left with the team in disarray and the players wishing death upon him. Plus I wouldnt trust any human being who tried to fist fight shaq.

Pound pound pass get ball back pound pound get in air with nowhere to go throw ball into lane turnover.

Rose is being too unselfish

On this team, if you pass the ball you may not see it again. Pax is going to have to get rid of quite a few people.
