Everyone is angry, and all they want to do is trade away 75 93% of their roster. Yesterday the administrator was calling a guy the a-word repeatedly. I don’t care that they are nothing like Blazers Edge, but they are so negative over there that they make Denis Leary seems like Mr. Rogers.

I fear for my life over there.

Blazer's Edge Ambassador to BaB. This really made me smile.

I'd like to formally separate myself from those

who want to trade the whole roster.

I did the other thing though.

errrrrrr I’m so angry right now. I wish I was hyped up on coffee instead. Please let it rain today………. errrrrr

that’s funny though, lol.

ha

at least D2 is known for something, other than being an….well…you know

by NormVanBeer on Nov 19, 2008 4:03 PM CST reply actions

D2 is fine

you can go to his blog, and learn that Aaron Gray is a legitimate NBA center, and fundamentally sound. It’s a no-spin zone!

I don't know why the spin comment irked you so...

You are blogger, you are supposed to spin things…

Really, I don’t dislike Gordon as much as my posts here make it appear…there is just so much Gordon love here…he is viewed through the proverbial rose colored glasses.

Aaron Gray is a fundamentally sound NBA center. He lacks explosiveness and lateral quickness, so he will likely a be back-up for the next 12 years. Not a bad gig if you can get it.

While other of your minions found it hilarious that you cursed me out, I found it offensive and immature.

yuh, no, he doesn't

he can set a good screen, I guess. The fundamentals such as shooting, finishing close, moving one foot in front of the other…not so much. He won’t be in the league in 2 years.

and he fouls like every other posession

I’m sure Pete Newell tried to teach him that one before dying.

Gray could rise to

Greg Ostergoon Ostertag levels of greatness.

by Granny Waiters on Nov 19, 2008 11:33 PM CST up reply actions

back to your misconception on 'spin'

If you commented: “I think Gordon had a bad game, he shot a bunch, etc. I think Aaron Gray had a great game, he dunked” then fine.

Instead you phrased it: “You think Gordon had a good game because you always like Gordon no matter what he does. You hate Aaron Gray so you refuse to say anything nice about him”

See how the first example is about Gordon, and the second one is about me?

I only spin based on how I want the Bulls to perform as a team, not to perpetuate my own likes and dislikes, or whatever agenda one can possibly believe I have with this platform. You can have your own thoughts about the Bulls, even if they’re wrong. Sharing your thoughts regarding how unfair I am is annoying.

Why not just quote me?

Instead of paraphrasing?

Whatever…I am done with this. I offended you and you offended me…and our basketball knowledge is none the better as a result.

obviously

those of us who are optimistic don’t post enough. :)

by KT on Nov 19, 2008 4:28 PM CST reply actions

Yeah, where have you been?

And in general, I don’t see that everyone is angry or thinks things suck here. It’s generally more positive than most of the places I check out, and it’s certainly more positive than the skeleton crew that mans S2’s Bulls board these days.

People were optimistic on here before last season

If the Blazers go 33-49 this season after having such high expectations, I bet the Blazer blogs will be pretty angry too.

and they extend Steve Blake's contract

while hard-balling Brandon Roy, because the owner likes the first guy better.

Not like it gets around here, imo.

There really is a different feel – Portland has nothing but the Blazers, and sure it wasn’t exactly positive during the jailblazer era, but there wasn’t a MJ-fueled stretch in there to spoil fans.

Words of wisdom about blogging:
Well you don’t have to be ‘nice’. But personal attacks are discouraged.
Your friendly Bulls Blogger, July 2008

Just wondering how that piece of advice squares with you calling someone an ass and then using the reasoning “because I wanted to insult you personally”?

by smash! on Nov 19, 2008 8:15 PM CST reply actions

I'd say 'cause it's his forum so he gets to set the rules. This isn't a democracy, this is Matt's world

and we just operate in it. Hence, why he can just boot people when he feels they are being douchebags.

by fundamentallysound on Nov 19, 2008 10:15 PM CST up reply actions

I believe one of my rules

is that I don’t have to follow them. I discouraged D2.0’s personal attack on me, with intensity!

I cracked up when you followed up the "insult you personally" comment

I try to tread lightly over here because I’m not sure if folks will like or understand my sense of humor. And like I said, there is a lot of anger over here. I don’t want to pull a Timbo and I got a warning on SLC Dunk for talking about a chocolate penis.

Well?

How do you feel about Segio? He’s got some nice things about his game, are we still on for the Hinrich for Sergio trade?

by Nick Van Excellent on Nov 20, 2008 12:12 AM CST reply actions

I would

try nto pry Fernandez fom them since he plays the same position as Roy and Webster plus they need a good PG and we have one available.

Homecoming

by illwill on Nov 20, 2008 2:09 AM CST up reply actions

Not in a million years.

Fernandez is amazing. He’s currently 2nd in the league for three pointers made.

Rudy has a better PER than Rose, Higher TS%, and a better rebounding rate. He scored 22 points in 18 minutes durring the gold medal game in the Olympics. (while Kobe Bryant was guarding him)

Rudy is probably the third best rookie guard behind Rose and Mayo. There’s no way the Blazers are going to trade the second coming of Mono Ginobli for a guy with a broken thumb who’s coming off the worst season of his career.
