Hughes is the worst player in the NBA

When I watch NBA games I often call the fouls before the referees do. Sometimes it’s a gift. Most of the time it's troublesome. - NBA Observer

Ya right, worst in the league, your just coveting that 15 million that Lebron got him.

29 years old, 11th year in the league, averaged 15 points and 31 minutes a game over those 11 years and will hit 3000 points by 30. Plus solid defense, better than any Bull on this team? Yep, worst in the NBA? Or, is that this years four games? Please. Its his third, fourth game of the year after having is shoulder ripped out, which Rush Pres said originally out to January. Two years ago, he works the point all the way to the Eastern finals at over 70 games? Some people are just haters, back your shit up with some numbers on both ends of the court, he did, don’t go off when there is a missed shot, when most the league sits in the low 40 ‘s. How many players make it over 5 years in the NBA in their career? You don’t have any idea. Under 5 Lets get big old gentle Ben back, warm up our locker room. Tired of every busting on Gooden, Hughes, when both been hurt and a bunch of youngsters. Turn the channel if you don’t enjoy it. Or did you really think Rose was going to average 20 a game all year and drive the lane after one year out of playing 25 game schedules in high school? Just have to call some of you FANS on your bullshit post, would love to see you play any Bull with one arm tied behind his back after they are retired for 10 years. Have some patience or turn on your playstation.

Get. A. Clue.

My hit list: Larry, Thabo, Lindsay, Demetris, Cedric, Aaron, Paxson, Reinsdorf, Del Negro, and Schanwald. We're left with Rose, Gordon, Hinrich, Deng, Noce, Gooden, Tyrus, Noah, Harris, and Bickerstaff. Harris takes coach and Bickerstaff takes GM. Who needs an owner? Pay for it with the money that the Blog A Bull community will spend on tickets to see a good team!
Correction: Matt takes GM, and Bickerstaff stays Head Assistant Coach.

Seriously ... what?

Hughes is the antithesis of good basketball, possibly the very embodiment of suck. I would rather have NEARLY any player in the NBA than him [trading Wallace for him and Gooden was a good move … mainly because we got Gooden]. Watch him play. His amazing gambling for steals[and missing, and screwing the D’s positioning] combined with degrading athleticism and his persistence in shooting at seemingly random points in the game aren’t matched for suckitude in the NBA, especially for his contract.
What is he shooting, 30%?
I mean, yeah, he’d destroy me in a game of 1 on 1, but … err … he’s not playing against me, is he? No, he’s playing against people who are so good at basketball they get paid to play. And the results are not good.

Does Rose just stop giving 100% this season? It must suck to go out there as a rookie and realize you are the best player on the team. In games like this it almost seems pointless to try. Noc is the only one putting in effort. When Gooden touches the ball I think it is a game of 21.

as I stated repeatedly on a recent thread...

Vinny Del Negro is a TERRIBLE coach. Poor defense, stand-around offense, virtually no intelligent adjustments. The guy is in way over his head, period.

But Hughes, Thabo, Simmons and Hunter are anyone!

Or maybe TT on Roy? Noah on Roy? Gray on Roy? Help me out here, man!

Hughes is on Roy now. hope you’re happy.

Good

yes I said “good” to having Hughes in there…at least he might provide some resistence to Roy…Noc is allergic to defense

14 of which came when Hughes was guarding him. Nice.

noc out??

people were demanding he come IN when thabo and the others came in first. everything everyone is saying is a knee jerk reaction. I know thats the norm here but you guys aren’t even being consistent!

Asked what kind of player he expects to be in the next five years, he said: "Not a star, but like, a superstar. Something around, like, Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, something like that."

If Noce can hit threes, DRose can penetrateand the bigs can just keep LMA and Oden off the blocks, we might make this decent.

Symbolic.

General manager needs the ability to foretell what is going to happen tomorrow, next week, next month, and next year. And to have the ability afterwards to explain why it didn't happen.

For some reason, my wrath is really focused on Noah tonight.

We dropped a Top 10 lottery pick on a center. We shouldn’t be this bad at center. It’s not like we ignored the position.

Don't worry...

we will get garbage points in the 4th and make it look like a respectable loss by 10. Just like the Lakers game last night. It’s our new MO.

Let’s play Cedric Simmons for the hell of it. Maybe he will beast on Aldridge.

Not really

Blazers are doing a great job of trapping him when he brings the ball up. That, and the team shooting ice cold is clogging the lane

by RogersPark Kris on Nov 19, 2008 10:45 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

Can't win when you get killed on the boards

Blazers have a 28-14 rebounding edge. Pryzbilla has 10 points and 7 rebounds, and Oden has 9 and 7. The frontcourt is just getting murdered again. If Thomas and Noah don’t play better this season, it’s time for Pax to go, because those are two lottery picks that would be wasted.
