I was thinking nicknames earlier

How no one has thought of this yet is unknown but I’m really liking “The Rose Parade”

Ok..Im with u on the nickname tip

…so I wiki’s “rose” and came across this cool name:

Hybrid Musk
The hybrid musk group was primarily developed by Rev. Joseph Pemberton, a British rosarian, in the first decades of the 20th century, based upon ‘Aglaia’, a 1896 cross by Peter Lambert. A seedling of this rose, ‘Trier’, is considered to the be foundation of the class. Hybrid musks are disease-resistant, remontant and generally cluster-flowered, with a strong, characteristic “musk” scent

I dunno why, but Hybrid Musk juts sounds killer

Those guys that are saying Thompson has been the most impressive are hilarious

When I watch NBA games I often call the fouls before the referees do. Sometimes it’s a gift. Most of the time it's troublesome. - NBA Observer

you have to consider expectations, though

considering everyone went “wtf?” with the pick and he’s played decently, he could be the one they are the most impressed by since they were expecting nothing from him. many expected rose to be good if not great, so he’s not exceeding expectations by THAT much, i think.

that said, it is a little silly. :)

I've seen him a few times-

very solid, not spectacular. Going to be very solid for years to go. Very polished. But seriously – he didn’t dominate at Rider as a senior nearly to the extent Beasley dominated at K-State as a freshman. Everyone’s wild about Fernandez and Thompson, but for godsake, the one had six years of pro experience and the other had four years of college. I actually heard him compared to Chris Webber. Do these people even remember how sick that dude was? Jaina hits it on the head – it’s all about mocking expectations. That’s how you please a crowd.

Thompson might

be an unexpected value for the level he was selected in the draft, but that is far off most impressive. They were not bothering to answer the question given. Rose is most impressive followed by Mayo and the rest descending.

Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.

the question was

who most impressed you, not most impressive. they’re not actually the same question.
