Kirk Hinrich and either Rose or Larry Hughes are safe bets to start at guard, especially with Ben Gordon suffering a relapse of his sore toe and skipping practice to visit a team doctor Wednesday.

It's only preseason
Still, I guess the only news I want to see about Larry Hughes is that he’s packing his bags or quotes about how he’s come to terms with no longer be a major minute player and he just wants to provide a solid veteran presence in the locker room and on the bench.
We have every right to dream heroic dreams. Those who say that we're in a time when there are no heroes, they just don't know where to look.

I can't for the life of me
understand why they would start Larry Hughes over Rose. Is it to ‘showcase’ him? As Matt has pointed out, other teams would see how bad he is, therefore negating that positive. Is it to bring Ros along ‘slowly’? He’s having the best camp of anyone on the team and you want to bring him along ‘slowly’?? Is Skiles still here? Speaking of which, Malik Allen dropped 18 yesterday. You know Skiles can’t wait to start him opening day.

So Rose is the best player in camp...
and might not start over Hinrich or Hughes? That makes for some great logic. Gotaa love the Bulls!

the Bulls:
“where no matter the question, the answer is always Kirk Hinrich”
