Del Negro is saying publicly that he has not been pleased with Noah's performance in campsummer league. But everyone is OK with it, because there is goodwill built up there. That kind of stuff is important, I think.

Broken link?

But true hoop is easy enough to find.

Disappointing news.

fixed

it’s meant to be un-disappointing re: VDN. I suppose it’s disappointing if Noah’s noah-good.

The quote is wrong.

True Hoops says

The two have spent time together several times. Then, fast forward a few weeks, and Del Negro has said publicly that he was not pleased with Noah’s performance in summer league. But everyone is OK with it, because there is goodwill built up there.

So, yeah big ups to VDN for building rapport with Noah…We were all disappointed with Noah in Summer League.

Actually,

thank God he was dissappointed in Noah’s summer league play. Dude was just vile.

I agree

Noah was not awful, but he already had better days comparing to those on the summer league

Since the relationship between VDN and the players is so good, I honestly don’t see a problem in him criticizing the way some of them play. He’s the coach, so, I guess it’s his job…

Please Pax, don't trade Hughes! Just make sure that he stays injured until... 2010!!!

OT

I agree it’s classy for Vinny to pick up the check and for Noah to appreciate it, but what exactly is the logic behind this, since Noah probably makes more money than Vinny does now and will make orders of magnitude more money than him in the future?

Maybe Noah tips like Pippen

and VDN was actually helping out the service staff.
