Around SBN: Dana White Announces Koscheck vs. Hendricks for UFC on FOX

I just want to be consistent," Thomas said. "If I play hard every night, I'm capable of at least double-digit rebounding.

"My shot is falling right now and I'm getting some offensive touches, but I'm not a prolific scorer. My rebounding should always be there. That's just effort.

"My big thing last year was mentally not wanting to make mistakes. I tried to be perfect. Now I can play hard and focus on each play at a time and not try to do too much. The coaches are showing confidence in me."

It's a 48 minute game

Every player will make mistakes. I hope Tyrus comes out aggressive tonight. Eyes up, head up all the time. Watch the body language.

To me

This sounds like he’s actually getting and listening to coaches who are trying to bring up his confidence….God I hope they can.

Someone needs to introduce

Thomas to the rim. Thomas needs to attack the rim on both ends of the court. He needs to stop floating aimlessly around the perimeter or mid perimeter and aggressively use his natural athleticism to defend and rebound on defense and attack the rim on offense. Although his jump shot looks better every year, he seems to be too in love with it, if he played more like Noah his results would be a lot better, he obviously is more naturally gifted. I am not really convinced that Thomas is the type of player that will ever get his head together and allow him to realize his athletic potential. As a life long Bulls fan I am hoping that this miracle will occur.
