Back in the Day: Remembering Rookie PG's of Past
Not to tempt the fates or anything, but I remember jumping up and down in my dorm room watching this Nets-Bulls game. There wasn't a lot to cheer about back then, but Jay Williams' trip-dub made me forget our horrible team for a bit.
That was eight games into his career. Here's a quick question: Do you think Rose notches a triple-double this year and if so, what month will he do it in?

My vote
I think he gets a triple double in December…and in a losing effort. My rationale being he’s the type of player that would only push himself to play outside his comfort zone when the rest of the team is off. He’s still pretty deferential.
Plenty of things to be happy about after his first game tonight. Fingers crossed!

I really dislike Jay Williams.
I wish him the best and I feel sorry for what happened to him, but as a fan, he just rubbed me the wrong way.
When people talk about Phil Jackson, they often say that he’s very intelligent, and that he’s not above reminding you that he’s intelligent.
Jay W. was a little bit like that.
So far, Rose is more humble, more deferential, and overall, more likeable that Jay Williams was as a Bull. Let’s hope it stays that way.

I think Kirk got a triple-double in his rookie year, too:
can anybody verify that?
