Rereading

the Skiles quote and the Donnie Nelson quote just got me pumped up all over again. Man, I can’t wait for the season to start.

Even drones can fly away.
The Queen is their slave."

To those who were wondering why Rose was announced from Chicago rather than Memphis
He also seems to understand his responsibility as the cornerstone of the Bulls’ future. He even requested to be introduced before games as being from Chicago, rather than from his college at Memphis.

“I’m here, I’ve been here my whole life. I was only in Memphis one year, so fans in Memphis would understand,” Rose said. “It was my idea. They asked me about it. And I thought about it a while, and finally came up with that decision.”

"I’m gonna rise up, gonna kick a little ass. Gonna kick some ass in the USA. Gonna climb a mountain, gonna sew a flag, gonna fly on an eagle. I’m gonna kick some butt, gonna drive a big truck. I’m gonna rule this world. I’m gonna kick some ass. I’m gonna rise up, gonna kick a little ass. Rock, flag, and eagle!"

71 out of the 82 games

he should be announced this way. The other 11 games Hinrich will light it up for +> 23 points per game.
Streaky shooter needs to eliminate the 2 and 4 total point games with better consistency. At least score 10 points (get to the foul line or something) on a bad night as the shooting guard imposter?

or the cornstalks of Iowa

From the cornstalks of Iowa, it’s everybody’s favorite Mopey Player, Kansas University’s own
Captain Kirk Hinrich

That would be too awesome.

Great read

side note: (has nothing to do with this post btw) – anybody got that Bulls TV listing schedule? I remember someone posted it in a fanshot or fanpost but I forgot to save it. If so, thanx a million

who do we trade for a post player?

I am still wondering when we are gonna get someone that can give us 15 pts per night at the post. We are still to dependent on the jumper. Outside of The Rose we have nobody that attacks the basket well maybe Noc. But the others all depend to much on jump shots now even Gooden is firing up jumpers all over the place. Many people say Gray is the answer man please whoever thinks that is back in the 50’s 60’s and 70’s. Gray could have been a useful center but now man hell 6’0 guys block his shot and anyone that has good lower base strenght pushes him off his shot.

is johnny redd kerr done as a broadcaster?

is it just going to be king n funk on tv and swirsky and wennington on radio?

His stats are as good as Fields -- that's the sad thing

I think I read somewhere he’s going to do the occasional sideline reporting…

and @ BullySix, I sincerely believe Gooden can get us near 15 a night. He’s shooting jumpers cause he’s a natural 4, and plays facing the basket- which is why he compliments Gray. I hope someone convinces him to play off the block cause thats what we really need.

Sadly

Kerr doesn’t look well…..he seems to have completely slipped. I kind of miss his humor on the games, though it also is nice to have Funk.

I am surprised as I tired of Kerr, but I think I was more sick of Dore. Even Stacey sounds better with a guy as awesome as Neil Funk. The Bulls TV team sound professional for the first time in years.
