This time he says that he's actually talked with Paxson about it...though not face-to-face yet. He says that will come soon. The video is about 8 minutes long...and he doesn't say the Paxson stuff until the last minute or so...the rest is him blabbing about how he stole money from Finland, Sweden, and Russia...er I mean, played in a few basketball games for them. The interviewer is pretty hard to understand due to low volume, a thick accent, and broken english.

Seriously, does anyone think that this has any legs? As much as I like Scottie, it would be pretty dumb for someone to give him a coaching gig with absolutely very little to NO experience.
It IS becoming apparent that Boylan isn't going to be here past this season though. I just don't know who else is out there.
I've heard Van Lier say it on TV, and I just read somewhere recently (can't remember where) that he would coach them. Though it's hard to determine if he was actually serious or just joking.
I'll say it again though, as much as people clown him for his corniness on the telecasts, I don't think you can look past Stacey King. He makes good points during the game and actually sounds like he knows what he's talking about (though that's not hard to do next to Tall & Taller), and his CBA experience, though definitely nothing like the big boys in the NBA, it helps. Then if he wanted to put Pip as an assistant coach, that might work. Then bring in BJ to work with the guards and steal Wennington from the radio to big your big man coach. Keep Pete Myers. Then bring back Cliff Levingston just for good measure as some type of aide or consultant. Boom...instant championship in 3 years.
