Athletics anyone?
After suffering through a miserable attempt at competitive, professional athletics, the comments of such successful athletes as Charles Barkley and Scottie Pippen only seem to resonate more. Yes the Bulls lack a true dominant post-player, but they also lack athletic ability at virtually every position. While yes the Hawks aren't exactly a paradigm of perfection for the NBA scene, the Bulls were simply athletically destroyed at every position. The Bulls "midget" guards (Hinrich, Gordon, Duhon) were unable to have any defensive presence or make any type of interior moves, Deng - who should be a shooting guard - played a great game and is developing into a wonderful player, but he can only do so much, and Thabo, who wasn't assigned to Johnson until the 2nd (why, may I ask?), has zero offensive ability. Tyrus, who is a true athlete, played hardly at all because of a poor attitude and poor offensive skills.
Rather than complain about not having a post up player, how about getting some athletes. That Kobe trade sounds great? Maybe McGrady?
These Bulls simply can't hang with these athletic teams and athletic players.
Is Paxon blind to the fact that these Bulls have serious personnel issues?
Every player on this team is expendable, besides Deng (I hope).

The Bulls have some athletic players...
I'd like to see a game where Boylan says, what the fuck, let's play Noah at the 5 and Tyrus at the 4 for the whole game, no matter what (save for some rest here and then). Deng at 3, Gordon at 2 and Hinrich at 1. Then Thabo, Noc, Smith off the bench. Some much needed rest for Wallace to think about how he could be an even better leader for this team. He would also have time to schedule the next players meeting sitting next to Griffin.
And as far as Thabo having zero offensive ability, that is not true. He has a sub-par jump shot, but apart from that he is a very adept offensive player (when given some freedom by the coaches to attempt things). Thing is, at the moment, they told him to forget about offense, and only care about defense.
He needs to improve his jump shot though, which he already has the past few years (believe me, it was terrible when he was 18 years old).
Thus far
