The Great Scottie Pippen

While trolling the internets for any whiff of Bulls news, I came across this article at Cavalier Attitude:  http://mvn.com/nba-cavaliers/2007/09/12/lets-not-insult-scottie-pippen/

I found it to be a real nice homage to one of the NBA's all-time great players, and there is a pretty sweet YouTube reel at the end.  During the last two championship seasons in particular, I remember having lively debates about whether Pippen was actually better than Jordan as an all-around player.  THAT'S how good he was.  Respeck.

That's funny
I was just gushing about Pippen on Sportsline board today....weird coincidence I guess, I mean it's not like Pipp's in the news everyday.

Thanks for the article, it more than backs up my basic thought post:

the cut out the best part
when Pippen stands over Ewing and Ewing is on the ground flailing like a little girl.  To me, given the situation, that's the greatest dunk of all time.

The First Youtube vid
That tricky inbound play pippen does is badass, i think that should go on par with jordan dunking pippens missed free throw. It raises the question, "Can you do that?!"
im trying hard to become the next kirk hinrich, therefore im doing nothing more than being the next chris duhon.

I saw that game
It was incredible.  And it was off of Danny Ainge, which added a little something.

What's crazy is...
...I happened to watch all of these videos just last week.  And now I gleefully watched them again.

One of the greatest of all time
Watching him play was like watching other great players.  The game, his game, was never boring.  Similiar to steve nash, larry bird, magic johnson, and mj.  Many exciting competitive games by highly driven players.

Pippen to play in Finland?
"HELSINKI (Reuters) - Former Chicago Bulls player Scottie Pippen is close to signing a two match deal with Finland's Torpan Pojat (ToPo), the team said on Thursday.

The plan is that Pippen, a six-time NBA champion and now 41 years old, would play in ToPo in December or January.

"We are discussing details now, such as when and in which matches he will play," ToPo's general manager Aleksi Valavuori said."
