PO-Z Needs To Chill Out

Some rumbles that the CTA bus route to the U.C. will be axed. Sayeth Mark Bazer:

With the team's first preseason game about a month away, this seems like an awfully odd time to eliminate the #19 "United Center Express" route.

While it's true that not all members of the Bulls take the #19 to games, most of the players and Benny do. In talking with such players as Ben Gordon, Chris Duhon and Kirk Hinrich, I get the sense that the potential of Doomsday coming to pass not only has the team confused but is severly impacting players' preparations for the upcoming season.

Commenter 'James' has some harsh words for our mass transit riding Bulls.

Man, what a lame subject! Who gives a flying $#%&! if the Bulls players use the CTA or not. As much as those steroid using idiots make, they can afford to take a taxi.

Posey was arrested trying to get a ride, so I'll trust the comment was straight from the heart.

There's so many instances here
of people not getting 'the joke', that I've managed to even confuse myself as to what is real or not. It's like the matrix of sarcasm

disclaimer:
It's all fake with the exception of James Posey trolling the Trib blog, and Ben Wallace really does travel by horse-drawn carriage.

Can I get an intern and a bucket?
"If Doomsday for the CTA comes to pass, Chicagoans from all walks of life will be sever[e]ly impacted"

I knew the apocalypse was coming, but I thought "removing the veil" was closer to disimpacting than severe impaction.  Good thing neither the 6 or the 20 includes #19, so I can "afford" to be less worried about this than BG7.

"[n]or the 20"
Just to be as vigilant about my words as I am about Mark Bazer's.
