Multiple league sources have indicated Chicago's interest in Allen the last few days, culminating last night with one who thought a trade between Seattle and Chicago had already been consummated.
Most media outlets (including this one) have been under the impression that the holdup for pulling off the Gasol deal is just the drawn-out chess match taking place between two very good GM's.
Apparently, another reason is because John Paxson isn't sure which available star he wants to pursue more--Gasol, or Allen.
Brigham's Hoops World article speculates Gordon, Peej's contract, another contract, and a draft pick would be sent to Seattle.
