They picked up Demetris Nichols, who was cast-off from Cleveland after they finally re-signed Varejao.

Anyone else think that waiving a big guard, Gardner, and picking up yet another 6'8 forward is a mistake?  I know Gardner hasn't gotten much PT but how much will Nichols really get?  He has to get through Deng, Noc, Smith, and Thomas.  Even Khryapa!  Gardner at least serves as another big guard other than Thabo, along with the rest of our midget backcourt.  I just don't understand this roster move by the Bulls.
