Hinrich sucks this year because he is a party animal!

Everyone can at least agree that Kirk is having a shitty year. I worked at a drinking establishment that Kirk frequented during the summer. Kirk loved to get shitfaced every time I saw him (he acts like that drunk obnoxious friend you had in high school who got kicked out of every party he went to) and I think all that partying is finally catching up with him. Does anyone else here agree with me that his lack of commitment and focus is his problem this year, rather than his lack of talent? Please discuss.

Yeah if thats true.
Thats killing your reaction and coordination after awhile. I don't drink but I don't think it could help to get wasted. Look what it does to people over time. When your in Pro sports that can't be good for him. They need to dump Hinrich and go after Kid this off season.

And really Hinrich sucked for most of last season and then he strung together a nice couple games. Then had one good playoff game and sucked again.

Really his team needs a learder and a leader at the point. I wana see them get a real smart gritty pass first get to the free throw line leader of a point man. We don't need some YMCA scrub like Hinrich. I could get Hinrich in foul trouble.

"drinking establishment"
Yeah, this sounds real believable. Doesn't every anecdote about a celebrity start with they were shitfaced? And what's with all the high school stereotypes we've been getting here lately? There are so many more wonderful stereotypes you can peg people with.
Officially a hater on Ballhype!

Didn't he just get married?
I mean, other than the working out all summer, the big news was that Hinrich got married, if I remember correctly.

So he gained weight from power lifting (never a good idea for a PG), then add on some extra weight from getting married--the receptions, parties, eating out, etc.

If he's also a party animal, add on some mental grief that he must be getting from the wife for that.

Gaining weight and partying too much sounds like a guide of what not to do for a good-guy gym rat like Hinrich. As for what not to do in the summer, badass edition, see Steven Jackson or Rafer Alston.

I thought the Bulls were back... turns out they're just a back end...
